I am not rating Sr.Ins. Rajat. It is too early to do it. If done, as a person seeing CID for quite a while and having seen all the old episodes, I personally feel it is extremely unfair for the actor portraying the role. Every one in CID has taken their own time to settle in and get into the skin of the role. Anyone seein gthe old cases will certainly realise this.
Second VK has been brought in at a time when CID serial has too many things either in a fluid state or in an unfamiliar phase. Starting from script all the way to producing it. Inspite of all this Vikas Kumar has made a true mark in his first two episodes with his body language. The firm stride, the observation look and ordering his juniors and most important of all not rocking the boat of the senior officers.
Yes. All this will be visible if we just stop ourselves from feeling that his entry has reduced the screen time, space and dialogue quantity of our favourite duo-trio. We have to be unbiased in this as VK has made a name as Deshmukh in KS. If his wardrobe or dialogue is not good, we have to remember that he is executing what he is asked to. He has no choice in this. But he is far better than the other two new entrants. They have no clue how officers even show or not show emotions even in a small frame.
I 'd say with some more time VK will show a different facet of his abilities.
