I am surprised Lata didi has not mentioned Devendar on Twitter yet? I mean she regular on Twitter and expresses her likes and thoughts there, how come she has not mentioned Indian Idol favourite yet? Or she did and I just happen to have missed it?

YES - I know Asha Tai conveyed her message to the junta, but Lata didi should tweet that on twitter...

I think this is too early for her to choose her most fav contestant.. Although Asha tai has been conveying her message almost in every episode 😆, but it will be fair from Lata ji's part to comment anything officially after a few weeks not now..

I was wondering the same thing, I check her twitter from time to time and didn't see any mention of him or his singing. He is a good singer vut her not mentioning him is what leads me to think it's more of a hype issue and less of an endorsement issue. Either way, it isn't fair to have one contestant singled out and endorsed by the great Lataji while the competition is still going on.

Both Friday and Saturday's episode was pathetic!!

I actually found Vipul and Kaushik to a bit better then the rest of the singers.

Dewander was not that great on Saturday - the look on Asha Tai's face was evident that she too was not that thrilled by the performance.

Yes she cried, but I am confident that the singing of Indian idol singers did not touch her heart, but the memory of legend is what brought tears to her eyes.

I was the one who had intially opened a topic saying not looking forward to Kaushik and Vipul's singing, but looks like they are the only one so far who have attempted at decent performance in all 4 episodes.

I am not going to give up on Dewander - hoping he will catch up soon and prove Lata Didi right!!
