CHAPTER 9

"Khushi, lets go home"

"Ma, how can you say that.? I'm not leaving them. I'm staying here."

""But Khushi.."

"No buts ma"

"Khushi I and your dad need to talk to you"

"About what ma?"

"We'll tell you Khushi come with me"

They took her to the guest room and locked the door behind.

"Dad, ma what is all this about? Can you tell me what the hell is going on?"

"Khushi look, we understand why you want to stay here and look after them but" Shashi began

"But what dad? Ma?" khushi looked on from her dad to her ma.

"Actually Khushi we don't have any problem with you staying here, but what about the people around us? What will they say?"

"Ma from when have you started bothering about all this ? All these years I have been staying there occasionally.."

"Thats occasionally , but this is not like that. You cant stay with a man that too one who has lost his mental.."

"Ma how can you say that, we have known them for years. I don't care about the others"

"We need to Khushi.."

"So what do you want me to do? I wont leave them alone in this state"

"Then?"

"I'll marry himn"

"What???" Garima and Shashi said in unision.

"Yeah. I'll marry him. He is ready to do whatever I ask him to do. Also I love him, and since Lavanya is no more he hasn't got anyone else in his life."

"But Khushi what about his decision when he becomes normal? If he doesn't want you as wife then?"

"Then is then ma, I don't care about all that. If he doesn't want that then we will divorce then. Ma I'm staying with them and my decision is final"

Khushi went straight to Anjali's room. She was looking at the scrapbook which Khushi had gifted her on her birthday.

"We were so close na?" Anjali had tears in her eyes.

"Yeah Anji"

"Howcome I don't remember anything? I'm so sorry"

"Dont be Anji, I've already told you. BTW I'm here to tell you something else"

"What Khushi?"

"I've decided to stay here forever as"

"Forever as?"

"as your.."

""as my ??"

"Anji I've decided to get married to Arnav so that I can stay here and take care of you both. If I don't get married to him , the people around will start making rumours and my parents wont be able to stand that" Khushi said in a single breath.

It took Anjali some time to register what she had heard just now.

"Khushi are you serious?"

"Yeah.. Anji any problem?"

"Khushi I really don't know how I would have reacted if I had not lost my memory, but today I realize that we are really very close else you wouldn't do this for us."

"I need to tell this to him Anji"

"I don't think he will have any problem"

"I'm going to him"

Khushi went to his room. He was wide awake.

"Arnav?"

"Khushi, thank god you came. I was getting really bored. I thought you must have gone to sleep."

"No Arnav. What did you want to tell me?"

"Nothing special. Talk to me" he said in a childish tone.

"OK Arnav. Now listen carefully to what I'm saying. Will you do anything for me?"

"yes"

"Whatever I ask you to do?"

"Yes of course"

"Ok then marry me!"

"What?"

"Arnav you promised me that you will do anything I ask for. So marry me. I want to be with you forever Arnav. Remember you also wanted the 3 of us to be together always"

"yeah.."

"So will you?"

"Yes"

"Ok. Now go to sleep." She gave him his medicines and made sure he slept. She then went to Anjali who was waiting for her.

"What did he say?"

"He agreed!!!"

"So nice, so you will be staying with us?"

"Yes"

"so nice"

"Anji, I've to inform mom n dad. We will have a small function here tomorrow. They will arrange for the pandit and we will get our marriage registered tomorrow itself. Anji can you take care of yourself tonight? I'll be back in the morning. Tomorrow onwards I'll be here"

"Sure Khushi bhabhi"

"Good night"

"Good night"

Khushi went home. She was happy that she could marry Arnav. Her dream was getting fulfilled but at the same time she felt sad for Lavanya. She was very sweet and caring. She had decided to sacrifice her love for her sake. But who can change the almighty's will. Maybe he wanted all this to happen.

She told Garima and Shashi about her decision and that Arnav had also agreed to it. Garima didn't say anything against it because she knew how much Khushi loved Arnav. So she decided to go by Khushi's happiness.

They arranged for the pandit and the marriage was to take place the next day at RM.

Thats it for now.

So how was this new twist.

very nyc update...

i guessed it tht khushi will marry arnav...

finally the love birds going tie the knot...

but arnav is not in sense...n khushi is happy to get her childhood love...

so the weeding is gonna hpn...

i hope arnav won't leave her whn he will back his memory...
