Actor Neha Sargam may be best
known for her shy and sweet
portrayal as a demure, middleclass girl that she played in her
earlier show, but now she's all
gung ho about an image makeover on the small screen. The
actor is playing a rather feisty,
vivacious, spunky daughter of a
powerful politician in Zee TV's
Punarvivaah, a far cry from her
earlier role. Talking about the
role, Neha says, "I'm very glad to
be playing a role that is a complete departure from what I have
essayed so far. When I heard the
producer and writer, Shashiji's
(Mittal) narration of the role, I
was reminded of Parineeti
Chopra's strong character from
Ishaqzaade. She's nobody's
doormat. She has a mind of her
own and will fight for what she
believes in! That's what attracted me to the role!"
