Shana you are 100 right. I love rhett butler, i really do. Gone with the wind was like my favourite literary piece ever. But the person I love even more than Rhett is actually Scarlett. Call me crazy, but the balls and the strength that is etched in every superficial line of Scarlett is mindblowing. So i dont blame Rhett for falling hopelessly in love with her. Coming to UV, I agree with you in your asessment that he is like a mix of all of the above but it is Rhett that he closely resembles the most.

He has pride in galleons but not the prjudices that come with darcy, and heathcliff is a little too evil for me to compare him with UV. But if there is another couple that i can dare to compare UV-M with, it would probably be Darcy and Elizabeth. Both are strong willed people and M too fell for the superficial goodness of Will before she realised her true love in Darcy. So yeah... a little bit of Darcy i can see in UV, but Darcy is too much of a straight arrow while UV is a little twisted, just like Rhett was.
