Spice Girls Hangout: Wimbledon Edition.

Welcome to the first ever, mixed singles tennis extravaganza on IPKKND.

This was a LONG overdue, much awaited showdown between the super shaatir evil guy and reigning princess on the professional circuit. They've played plenty of test shots at each other - today they finally got the opportunity to play center court at Wimbledon, with the Royal (Raizada) Family in attendance.

Today's Take 5 posted from the cheap seats at Wimbledon as we breathlessly watch the progression of this epic face-off.

1. Warming Up before the match. Mami finally tells everyone that Arnav bitwa wasn't high-stepping in the Highlands, but dodging thugs in Dilli. Cue shocked expressions from everyone - W*F? 😲 The expected question and answer session kicks off.

How is it that Khushi-ji is the only one who knew? (coz she was the only one paying atention - you clueless morons)

Why didn't she tell anyone? (coz she loves the lot of you, but has no illusions about your intelligence)

Why didn't they ask for a ransom? (coz the napper didn't bhant a single trophy, he bhanted the entire Grand Slam)

In other words, he wanted to eliminate the top ranked player on the circuit and become #1 himself. 😡

2. Game on! Khushi-ji has first Serve. Di - I know who the napper is, and its the same guy that's been using you for a doormat since forever. Isn't that right - Shyam-ji?

Hulk-ji returns serve. "Khushi-ji, what are you talking about?" The two players setle down into their opening volleys - the shots are sharp, but not yet lethal.

Shyam-ji - you kidnapped Arnav-ji because you wanted to steal all his property. You even tricked me into getting a will signed by him! (Score = 1-0). 👍🏼

Oh yeah? Yeah! Oh yeah? Yeah! Then show us these papers, Khushi-ji. Cross court shot that Khushi-ji is unable to return, since she doesn't have the papers anymore. (Score = 1-1)

This match is starting to get BHERRY exciting.

3. Quiet on the court please. Thank you. The next set will now start. Khushi-ji serves again. I saw Arnav-ji's passport in your briefcase, and his blood on your shoes. What say you to that? 👏

But the Hulk isn't exactly playing marbles. "Khushi-ji, W*F were you doing in my room without permission?" Ooo, with Di watching, that qualifies as an ace.

"Also, did you forget I'm a lawyer? I get stuff on my shoes all the time." (Score = 1-2, the Hulk is leading) 😕

Khushi-ji is starting to get just a bit anxious, since the Hulk knows her game well. He's playing to the audience, and they are undecided.

4. One for the Home Team - Nanhe-ji to the rescue! 👍🏼 Nk bursts in, and he's thrilled to see Nannav back home. But Khushi-ji is impatient. Nanhe-ji, can we put the bromance on ice for a little while? A little help here, please!

Khushi-ji tries again with a sneaky corner shot. Nanhe-ji will tell you all the truth! A few moments of palpitation when Nanhe-ji is quiet, and the viewers are wondering if this is THE END. But fikar not, picture abhi baki hai.

Khushi-ji is correct - Jiju is the kidnapper. The Hulk is now playing against both of them simutaneously, since his mixed doubles partner (Dear Anj) hasn't stepped up to the court yet.

"Oh really? And how would you know - NK?"

"Coz I was hiding in your room - Jiju. I heard you talking to the travel agency, asking for a Scottish immigration stamp!" (Score = 2-2) 👏

The best part of this episode for me was the Hulk's realization - that his room is also Grand Central Station and experiences just as much foot traffic, as does Arhi Central. 😛

Payback is SWEET. ⭐️

5. Precap. Frontal assault on the top ranked player, who hasn't entered the match yet. "Saale Sahab - did you ever see me when you were kidnapped? I'm telling you all - Khushi-ji is lying like a bandit!"

"NO SHE IS NOT." The sphinx FINALLY breaks her silence, and remembers she's actually the OLDER sister. Payaliya - job well done for finally joining the home team. 👏 We look forward to seeing your volleys tomorrow.

The match is finally paused due to fading light - to be resumed tomorrow, same time, same place. The home team now has 3 players and is playing valiantly, but all their volleys and shots have been successfully deflected so far by the super shaatir evil guy.

What about tomorrow? Will the home team be able to win over the Royal (Raizada) Family? What about Roger Federer (ASR), the ranking top seeded player, who has so far been watching the byplay silently? Will he step up and smash an ace down center court to wrap this up?

That's the beauty of tennis.

Finally the whole truth,full truth and nothing but the truth from Khushi. She does not have to hide anything and reveals everything to the RM wasis.

It is very difficult to imagine that Khushi would have started this conversation without consulting Arnav, as Anjali is going to be most affected by the revelation. Maybe, we will get an insight into the conversation shared at the doorstep of RM and why Khushi entered first followed by Arnav.

As each and every truth is revealed Shyam dodges them and addresses only his trump card in Anjali. He does not even worry about the reaction of the others, it is only Anjali that his focus is on. Nk's genuine concern and happiness on seeing Arnav and Khushi safe, was a welcome sight.

Finally the man himself, ASR who was mute during most of the conversation but was constantly watching and gauging the reactions around him as the truth was unraveling. One could not miss the silent glances he was giving to Khushi almost asking her to proceed and in this process learns how much of trials and tribulations she has undergone to get to him.

When NK reveals that she has tolerated Shyam's behavior only to get to Arnav, ASR's look was apologetic to put her through this. Will tomorrow be the day when he will swoop in and put an end to Shyam's denial?

Full on drama continues and the show has still not let up on the pace. I'll be honest that I was hoping for a dramance cocktail, but today it was drama all the way. 😭For whatever reason, the show seems to have have determined that drama needs to lead this RTR with TRP Maiyya.

Even though I'm disappointed at the lack of romance today, the drama had me hooked. Some obvious contrivances apart, nice set up for a "he said, she said". No one has any proof and Shyam was at pains to point out that he is innocent until proven guilty.

The war is on and the players are firing their first salvos. Anjali, imploring Khushi to let her illusory world stand. Truth be damned, all Anjali wants is her Stepford duniya intact. Maami is in a take no prisoners stance. She's been shushed by Khushi, been cut out of the bourne adventures, has witnessed an explosive damning ShuShi scene --- she wants the truth out NOW and she wants proof.

Nani and Akash are in shock. NK and Payal are firmly in Khushi's corner. The man himself... maun vrat - he seems to be biding his time, waiting for all the cards to be revealed. I wish Sobti would play him differently - calculating, intense, brooding... looking shaatir and dangerous dammit! I hate the deer in the headlights look. 😡

I did like the way the story was set up today. My fear was that Shyam would go back to his face twitching, inept execution of dead end schemes. Instead he's back to doing what he does best -- confidence trickster-ing! He is a consummate con artist and while his prime target is Anjali, all the Raizadas have been sitting ducks so far. Now he's REALLY working it. By rights he ought to be cornered, with nowhere to go. But he's fighting his own rearguard action with his best weapons! He may pull a houdini act yet. Perhaps as Vistaa and Diya suggested, he'll beat a strategic retreat and come back with a new plan and more evil. One can only hope! 😍

We've had much hand wringing over the blow TRP Maiyya dealt us this week. A few thoughts:

- As loyal fans, we may be able to do an Anjali and deny any threat to our show's existence, but the PH I'm sure has it's eyes wide open. It stands to reason that the show is on SP's scanner - it makes business sense. There's no way the PH does not tackle this on a war footing.

-TRPs are unfair, the measurement system is broken... no one complained about that during Jan-Feb and around the SPA. At that time the TRPs were soaring and were seen as reliable indicators of the show's popularity and quality! This can't work only in one direction.

- SP metes out step motherly treatment to our show and does not promote it enough. I honestly don't know. But, I'm data driven--- so I'll believe that when I see how many promos other shows have had vs. IPK in say the last week or so. Plus what the split in responsibility is between the PH and SP in making and airing new promos --- I don't know.

- If SP had more promos and people knew about what lies ahead on IPK, TRPs will rise... I don't think so. The reason for the TRP slide is because the PH let the story go to the dogs. This has been coming since March, it only got worse in Sobti's absence. Also, if child bride and the rest of the competition has engrossing story lines why would their loyal viewers switch to our show simply because of some good promos? Would we watch child bride because of their thappad gate promo?

- Promos are teasers, they give information on the mazaa that lies ahead but the true test is if the PH can pull together a solidly entertaining story for the next few weeks. Then the promos have some value. It'll help if the competition falters. 😛 In my view it'll take a balance of dramance and a solid role for the ensemble... not just maami but PayAsh and Nani... and maybe even Lakshmiji (veeps, that was for you wonly - miss you!) to pull back from the edge.

While we wait for the romance to show up, we enjoy each other's company, snark, whine, analyze, unleash shayari and if you're like me ... we SHARTH!

Note: Excessive drooling and phangurling is injurious to hangout health. Can we peeleejh keep that under control - vinamr nivedan!

Episode starts off with Manorama revealing Arnav's kidnapping, he confirms it and questions come flying in to a shocked family that has finally realized why Manorama and Khushi suddenly became inseperable BFFs. Everyone's reactions were spot on, shock, confusion and this was only the beginning as the biggest truth was yet to come

Khushi continues to impress me, she was on a mission to expose Shyam and had the support of her husband to do it which is all she needed to proceed. Khushi did not hold anything back, there was no half truths just the whole truth which was much needed at this point.

Arnav did not say much in this episode but his silence spoke louder than words. I could see from his reaction that the family doubting Khushi was exactly what he feared but it did not stop Khushi from revealing everything she knew about Shyam, best of all she had NK to back her up. Arnav got a glimpse of what Khushi went through to save him but now he is getting details as well, including her putting up with a man she loathes the most.

Shyam has a lot of nerve, he really does. When he brought up how Khushi could go into his room without his or Anjali's permission I seriously wanted Khushi to ask him how he could come in her room to shower without her permission that too when her husband was not around. Nevertheless, the hole continues to dig deeper for him to fall in. Khushi's support system is building, first NK and now Payal who I look forward to watching in the next episode as her backbone returns

There is a member on the forum who made an interesting observation about how the MU loop could be closed soon. In the promo Shyam accuses Khushi of coming onto him which we all know is a lie, especially since he told Arnav the day he was confronted about how much he loves Khushi and she loves him. Not only this but Mami is also witness to him saying how he would leave his wife for Khushi, so yes he continues to ruin the image he built in the eyes of Raizadas.

Another masterful episode today people...the tight control over the proceedings was very evident...and all participants got a say, howsoever small. From Akash's direct questions with just the right mix of anger and disbelief, to Nani''s and Payal's incredulity at the gravity of Khushi's accusations and revelations...it was all very well done. Writers👏

Anjali's was true to form, and I for one did not find her OTT...before she had even processed the revelation that her beloved brother had been in mortal danger for a good two weeks, she heard that her equally beloved husband could have been responsible for it. I can forgive her for going to pieces.

NK's entry was at just the right juncture, when we thought that Khushi had been defeated by Shyam's sophistry...masterful story-telling👏. I said it in the other thread too...his "Nannav, mere bhai" were the sweetest words that I have heard today😊 Very natural of him to pause a minute to celebrate the safety of Arnav and Khushi...awww..."I am so proud of you Khushiji...aap Nannav ko ghar le aayeen"...that was as if he was saying on our behalf...

But to me, Mami was the real player today...it was very interesting to witness her transformation within the space of twenty minutes. She started off being extremely antagonastic towards Khushi, repeatedly interrupting her and questioning her very aggressively. Of course, the Khushi -Shyam conversation that she had overheard in the morning was playing on her mind...But the moment, Khushi accused Shyam, you could see her change, little by little...first she challenged her .."how can you say with such certainity that he is behind the kidnapping...?" And then, watching the adamant Khushi, she went silent and you could almost see the wheels turning in her mind...she is nothing but sharp.

So Shyam has a bigger problem on his hand than he thought...Mami is already half-way convinced that he is the villain...his image in her eyes had already shattered in the morning when she had overheard him say that he was ready to divorce Anjali. So Team Khushi is really stronger than we think...

Two more observations:

1) I think Arnav spilled the beans on him being in on the plan, when he said "kyunki mera kidnapper nahin chaahta tha ki kisi ko kuch pata chale..." That was a give away line to me, he and Khushi have had a conversation before entering the RM...

2) Khushi is such a darling...despite just surviving a near-death experience, she is so mindful of the devastation that Anjali is going to go through by what she is going to say...so she takes Anjali's hands and tries to give her strength before starting...*sigh*

Had been a little disappointed in the morning when I saw it live after a very long time, but repeat watching put everything in perspective.

My take –

For Khushi – The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth

For Shyam- Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive

Khushi's truth is her biggest strength. "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything." (Mark Twain).

When she trapped Shyam, the biggest strength of her revenge story, and what made it believable was that she told the exact truth about events, and lied only about her reactions. Here, again, she tells the entire truth … and her various lieutenants who all know bits and pieces of it, can put those pieces together.

Mami knew the first half of the investigation, she asked Khushi why she didn't tell the family – Khushi replied it was because of the threat to Arnav's life, Mami was witness to the plank attack and the subsequent phone call.

NK is first hand witness to Shyam's ugliness, he knows it's not just Khushi's version of events.

Payal knows the entire Shyam-Khushi engagement story.

When and if Anjali and Nani start thinking, they know Khushi's fiance's name and profession, that he was a PG, and Khushi never hid any of this. If we're really lucky, Anjali might also remember that those were the days Shyam was always travelling on "work."

And Shyam told Arnav that he loved Khushi, she was his junoon etc., and only Rani Sahiba stood in their way.

What makes Khushi even more dangerous for Shyam – 'Hum aur bhi gir sakte hain …' she has no hesitation now to tell the engagement story, or anything else for that matter.

Another strength – Anjali has heard the entire truth and has not so far –a) fainted, b)had hysterics, c) dropped dead of shock, or d) suffered threatened miscarriage. So Anjali, for whom she was hiding the truth, is obviously much stronger than everyone realized.

Shyam – has a story full of holes, and missing proof. And a lot of bluster … every time Khushi gets close to a difficult truth, he blusters – do you have any proof?

Will Anjali remember that she found him at least twice snooping around in Arnav's room, when neither Arnav or Khushi were there? And did he ask permission? Did Anjali ask her precious Chotey's permission when she sent her half-naked husband to have a bath in her brother's bathroom?!

Anjali actually surprised me today … she didn't have hysterics, and she actually looked as though she was listening to Khushi.

Khushi the tigress is back … full of fury and fighting fit … spitting fire with every word ... and getting more and more upsetand frustrated as Shyam fought back so cleverly. Sanaya was awesome today … reminded me of the guesthouse scene. 👏👏👏

What Khushi has also accomplished … whether or not she is believed right now or not, the finger of suspicion is firmly raised towards Shyam … every move of his, every word will be carefully scrutinized, and he will have to be doubly, no, triply, careful now, not to make any slips …

Which is difficult … deceit and lies make for a very slippery road … one false step and you're down.

NK, you are a darling … if cv's don't give you a pretty girl to flirt with in the show, I'll offer to run away with you to Australia myself … 😳

Note to cv's – when you cut and paste Barun's expressions, can you please make sure they are all not the same shots? Or was it actually Barun's expressions that didn't change? There were only two-three places where he didn't look like "WT* … all this happened to me and I didn't even know?!"

However, in those few shots, it did look as though he was listening very carefully, and playing the waiting game … giving Khushi the opportunity to talk, letting NK add his part, watching Shyam's reactions … and putting the entire story together himself. And tomorrow will be his day.

For the sake of the ASR I love, that had better be the case! 😛

Another Drama Packed Episode Today. Going to keep this short.

I talk too much.😆

So Arnav and Khushi make some sort of plan to reveal to the family.

The eyelocks between each other explains that.

And after frantic Anji the hairbrush-hands brushed poor Arnies hair and stubble and finished her squabbling,

Arnav looks at Khushi and gives her the go ahead to begin the battle

Khushi Reveals.Shyam Denies.Family watches.ASR observes in Silence

And objection your honour, comes in NK to the Raizada court at the right time.👏

ASR- The Judge

Shyam the Accused

Anjali the Defence

Khushi the Prosecutor

NK the Witness

Payal the final Evidence that makes the decision

Mami, Nani, Akash the Deciding Jury

Why is ASR silent?🤔

Because there is a right time to speak.

He wants Khushi to give all her facts to the family first.

And then, in true ASR style, he shall have the final Word...

At the moment, he is gauging everyones reaction.

Because when he talks everyone Listens. And listen (and see the slap) we shall.😍

Oh how could i forget. Payal🤗 do us proud girl👍🏼

Editing, You guys need to grow up, in skills,🤓

We already have a BD that looks nothing like BS and your poor editing skills enhance the male version of Soorphanka so much.

And you did this during Haldi in January and you did it again. Replayed the same ASR expression for the whole episode. At least don't insult the man of expressions with your atrocious editing skills.😡😡😡

Jamba, FANTASTIC post and yes Khushi the tennis ball will be tosses from one court to the other and who pray is the referee ?

An overdue conversation and revelation of the truth. If the Riazada's are having a hard time believing it now they would have not belived her several months ago. And does Arnie believe her now ? It was difficult to tell as his silence was hard to decipher. Would he stand by her or his sister ... to be seen in the upcoming episodes.

The one consolation I have is that Arnie finally gave her the centre stage and asked her to tell her story. He did not give her that chance on the day of the wedding . "Aapne ek baar to hum se poocha to hota .." He knows that Shyam is not faithful to his sister but can he stoop so low as to commit a crime as a kidnap ? The burden of proof lies on Khushi and in my mind Arnie would have simply told her to shutup at the door had he not wanted the family to know. So maybe there is hope after all.

The entire proceedings were highly dramatic and our lawyer sahib adept at volleying all the shots thrown at him . What can be expected of the family ? Aakash , Nani, Anji baffled - Hume kuch samaj nahin aa raha hai ? Mami the only voice of reason asking the right questions and FINALLY NK supporitng Khushi and defending her.

After Khushi having told her story and Arnie SLAPPING this creep both should move off the scene coz now its up to Anji and the rest of the family to figure thngs out. Who they want to believe and who they do not. It time ArHI had some peace and quiet and be by themselves. Too much to ask I guess...

So lets see how soon does this game wraps up and who emerges as the victor. In the meantime sit back , relax and enjoy the fun.

Okay, its super late here so will make this fast!!

It was quite the power packed, gripping entertaining episode.

I'm glad that Khushi has spoken up, she's realized what "half-truths" have led to, the consequences have been bad from her getting married forcefully to Arnav getting hurt and kidnapped, she no longer cares, all she cares is that everything is out there and she stops indirectly hurting people.

I was surprised with the RM reaction, I expected more hurl directed towards Khushi, but they've been mostly civil so far. Anjali had her moment and so did Maami. Maami will believe Khushi and NK, she will give them the benefit of the doubt over Shyam. NK is her own blood and she knows 8/10 things that Khushi has said were all true because she witnessed them with her. Maami along with Payaal will back up Khushi in the coming days.

Awww NK and Nanav. Arnav owes NK big and I really hope the CVs show that gratitude and more bromance between the 2, NK riles up Arnav and is a good tease, I look forward to lighthearted scenes with these 2 and later 3 when Akash calms down.

Payaalia!!!!! Please bring the wrath tomorrow. Say it all and don't care if Akash is furious. Just say it all.

Uhmm, so Barun and his BD make an appearence. Honestly, I won't complain, because ASR was meant to be mute and to be honest, I rather they use BDs for such mute scenes than Barun. Tomorrow will be all Barun.

Arnav's silence and emotions did give away one thing, he's ready to let Khushi take charge and support her however he can. He won't get in her way and will completely trust her and support her. That was symbolic yesterday with him walking in after her, being that support that will always be there that won't let her fall down and support she can always fall back on.
