Thread # 11
After the drowning scene, Gulaal's words to Kesar that her love wont change at any cost, no matter whatever hatred he has for her and later when Gulaal accuses him of having bad intentions on whatever he did to make her happy during the DV trial period, his words,.. it is true that he loves her and it will never change.

Choory..😭.For being such a BIG late lateef here..But der aye durust aye...😛
First of all wonderful scene suggestion by Roshni...👏.
Well both the scenes were brilliant and did invoke major twists in the hearts and perceptions of KG .
but first of all here is the BIGGEST question as to what is love.It is said that Days shall pass, nights might come and go ,but the magic of love is lingering-It will always be there.Nothing can change that. The serenity the freshness the feelings will always be there.IMO both were right and wrong in a sense as LOVE was always there between them but only ITS FORMS CHANGED from time to time...
For Gulaal She had loved Kesar in her own way...From the nok-jhonk of buddies to being a guiding lamp for him ,nurturing him with her affection like a young sapling planted by VASANT and gradually transcending her own inhibitions culminating into a bond much beyond words..Yes!! He hurt her !! Hurt her repeatedly and also in a way hurt her by openly violating her upright virtue..But her love finally did change its form.
For Kesar he had always loved her too .But its forms did change..From a child being besotted by the larger than life strong woman,to a teen who had only thoughts about her ..to a man charmed and fascinated and obsessed by the only women whom he had ever loved and finally metamorphosing and touching the highest levels of exultation...Giving without any thought of getting something in return...
Love involves transcending one's own self. This is what Kesar did and Surely he fulfilled the promise of always being in love with her...
Ahhh these two will kill me someday ..Coz I just cannot stop thinking about them😭
I really loved Neil in both the scenes. Both the scenes with strong parallels..Where one harshly reprimands the other for forming judgemental opinions about the others. This was what the show was about...SHEER BRILLIANCE!!

"Per isse main badlungi nahi aur na hi tere liye mera pyaar, mere liye tu hamesha wahi Kesar rahega, jise tu khud bahut piche chod aaya hai..."

For me it was declaration of unwavering faith, undeniable belief and unquestionable love that she always had for him that would not change by years of stubborn and resolute indifference or forced and involuntary anger, They both suffered and were in great pain trying to cause grief to the other ,I agree with Piyu love transcended and changed it's shape and form going through various stages in their lives but what remained amazingly steady was their trust on each other at no point in time was she in doubt of his integrity given the open declaration of his love for her, she was shocked and felt violated yes but not because there was question/fear over his intentions or his objectives there was this implicit understanding that he knew her more than anyone and by that he also understood how there cannot be anyone in her life but Vasant whose love was beyond mortality

This is what is reflected when she accuses him off trying to invade that space, because by doing things that made her relieve those happy memories in her life she felt threatened of opening that door she had shut on anyone and everyone, she could see someone knocking on those doors and in her complete devotion to the love she had in her heart for Vasant closes her eyes to something that was so obvious Kesar's complete and total acceptance of her devotion to his late brother and there by respecting and revering her beside loving her unconditionally so when he turns and tells her about the rishta that they shared beyond that DV beyond that declaration of love she feels ashamed and mortified of her stand...Yes he loved her and that was unchangeable but he never wanted to win her love by encroaching that exclusivity she had with Vasant he wanted to build his own in co-existence with them and that's what the declaration of that rishta meant...oh I don't know what I have written hope it makes sense...there can never be anyone like them...miss them so much...

Roshni, wonderful scene selection as usual and Piu what a beautiful write up.loved it so much.Srushti the scene that you added along with these two is perfect. All three are such brilliant little scenes.Love and it's changing nature is the basic theme in all of them.Kesar and Gulaal have always had a very unique bond...something very different... very unusual na.They are both passionate people who love with with an intensity that might be hard to match up by others.Their relationship had always been volatile right from their first meeting na but somehow they became each other's anchor. The love between them was always there...It's just the nature of the love that they felt for the other kept changing throughout. The journey that these two take to reach each other is reflected in these three scenes na.I have nothing much to add cause Piu has expressed it all in such a beautiful way.so I will stop my blabbering here and look forward to reading the discussion😃

Oh what a scene that was! Every time I see it leaves me with a distinct feeling of world coming to an end well it did for him na lovely sugg Srush

What a wonderful, wonderful acting by NB he just completely transformed this scene by his hand and eye gestures without much help from dialogue writers, that final acceptance of how he will never be able to get that lil space in her heart all he craved for, finally realizing how futile it will be to exist in the same space yet far apart the one and only fear that he always had from the day he first met her finally coming to forefront and with that shaking hand and incessant tears the finality strikes her too but he had given-up na when he handed over the morchan, one last thing that was holding him to his childhood, his love, his faith and his life was being left behind as something to remember him by!!! Omg my heart is choking writing this…..

his eyes were not reflecting those words he was speaking, for the first time in his life he was not saying what his heart wanted and she realised it and wanted to hold on to that hand in hers but it was too late, that kavach he always had around him was gone, the kavach that made him step in those shoes just with a blink of an eye, kavach that protected him in every step of the way and kavach that was her only support throughout her ordeal when Dushyant's truth came out was no longer holding them together and that was something that broke him completely,so much so that he didn't want to keep any remembrance with him not even his morchan…something he never gave up on even after learning bitter truth about his brother's murder, realising the Gulaal's involvement in keeping Dushyant's secret no not even then…but this was something he was never going to need again…to ever go back to it was with that in mind he says…"main bhi toh aage badh raha hu na…" tu be honest he was leaving his life behind…"Kissi ko mukkamal jaha nahi milta kabhi zamee toh kabhi aasman nahi milta"…such unconditional love, devotion and surrender…well there will only ever be one Kesar…
