shubras rape?

ok i am lost since I started watching saat phere much later. who was Karan
and why did subhra get into an affair with him. Like how did she know him.
Also why did he leave her to get raped by his friend. And also if shubra was
raped then is her baby Karans or karans friends?

Well actually, Shubra ran away with Karan after the family decided that Nahar and Saloni will be getting married. Shubra wanted to get married to Nahar but Nahar chose Saloni instead and the family agreed and Shubra told them that they did not care for her that is why they agreed to get Saloni married to Nahar whom she liked. So then out of anger and also Kaveri's help Shubra ran away with karan b/c she thought he was rich and he loved her. But acutally karan was bad and he wanted to blackmail Shubra by taking her pictures and stuff. Shubra slept with Karan thinking he loves her, later she found out he was after her for her money. So then she returned home. Then karan along with kaveri tried to stop Saloni's wedding by telling he would expose shubra's pictures, when saloni went to go get the pictures, she finds karan's friend dead. the police catches saloni for the murder but it is later found that karan killed his friend and he is caught instead. then the family finds out that shubra is preg with karan's child. Then the family suggests that they forgive karan and get him married to shubra, but shubra now hates karan and does not want to marry her, she tries to kill herself but neel saves her. Then Saloni asks Neel to take shubra's hand and after giving it some thought, he agrees. And they are married. Hopefully that should help and is not too confusing 😊

Karan & shubhra were in college together, & shubhra slapped him once & created a scene in front of college principal, so Karan wanted to take revenge, he decided to portray himself a rich guy in front of shubhra so she would be interested. meanwhile Nahar came to see shubhra for alliance but liked saloni instead, hurt shubhra decided to get along with karan(he just wanted to be with somebody richer than Nahar). karan also thought this is the right time to take revenge on shubhra. Kaveri also helped karan(as she is always helpful to bad doers) & suggested him to elope with shubhra, & at home she encouraged shubhra also to run away with Karan. & they did, Karan managed to sleep with shubhra once by showing a few expensive gifts, from there she got pregnant. karan wasn't actually rich, he was borrowing money from a friend who in return wanted to sleep with shubhra. so karan after taking his revenge left shubhra alone with his friend in a room, but shubhra managed to run away from there before anything happened.
after that Karan had some fight over the expenses with his friend, & he killed his friend & was in jail, just got back & again trying to impress shubhra.

shubras a waste of space she blames karan 4 her pregancy but he didn't rape her. she married neel cos she was pregnant and she doesn't like him much cos he was in love with saloni plus his poor her and kaveri are planning on her having the baby and for her then to run away leavin the baby with neel and the family to look after so she can live er life the way she wants with nothing holding her back like the family and baby that was before karan showed up dont really no wats gna happen now but most likely she will have an affair with karan
