Salman, Katrina set for 200 crore club with Ek Tha Tiger

While Kareena Kapoor and Asin are leading the bunch when it comes to the 100 crore club, Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra have also made their presence felt with a couple of centuries each. In the middle of this, the most consistent of them all, Katrina Kaif, hadn't stepped into the territory yet. Now if response to the latest theatrical promo of Ek Tha Tiger is any indication, she is all set to make a double dhamaka with a huge jump into the 200 crore club.
Ever since the new theatrical promo of Ek Tha Tiger went online yesterday, one thing is quite clear that no one can stop this film from scoring a double century at the box office. The promo is the 'baap' of them all and even leaves behind the mighty successful teaser that was launched a few weeks back. Salman and Katrina have a huge blockbuster in their hands and are now all set to join Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor who are the sole members of the '200 crore club', courtesy 3 Idiots.
In fact those who complained about Katrina Kaif's absence from the teaser have a lot to cheer about as well since Ek Tha Tiger clearly establishes the fact that Katrina would be much more than just an arm candy for Salman. Her presence in almost half the promo pretty much establishes the love story element of Ek Tha Tiger and all doubts about the length of her role have finally evaporated now. It is clear that she would be seen a lot in the film and would add on with her screen presence.
Meanwhile with confirmation coming around the film's release on August 15, there is an extended five day long weekend that Ek Tha Tiger enjoys. With all existing records waiting to be smashed, Katrina Kaif, in one quick stroke, is now all set to roar the loudest with her 'tiger' Salman in tow.
