Through out the history we have come across Indian Soaps with a message for the society, to make the narrow-minded broaden up a little, and teach new morals 😊
Now, these shows do this via their leads, majority of which are ladies 😃
They show the female lead, in a light that would make the audience love her ... adore her ... and they would layer her character as such, that many would think of her as a role model, or someone they aim to be more like 😊
Okay, so coming to my very strange and random topic for a post ...
But somewhere it does have something to do with DEK, since the show is very unique and shows a more realistic form of a female lead ... Yeah, being positive about it 😆
She is young, naive, brave, wild, bubbly, self-centred, can be obnoxious, but she's kind, loving, and a good human being at heart, I'm talking about Manyata ... just incase you all are lost 😊
She is a girl, who's a human being, it's very usual for her to make mistakes, some are huge, some are not soo huge and some are small ... she has the guts to speak her mind, she doesn't care of what people think of her, she can be manipulative for her selfish reasons, most of all this girl's got the guts to resist UV's sexiness, and challenge him as an equal ... now that my girlies is one hell of a quality 😆👏
What I'm trying to get at is ... that she isn't perfect like all those daughter-in-law versions of God in other serials, not that I don't like goody two shoe girls ... but the thing is I'm trying to side Manyata , righteous and wise women ... But she is more real and raw than those perfect beings, that some time make you feel "bad" ...
If there is a lead ... let's say called "Rani" ... she's a goody two shoes, adored by all ... virtuous and angelic ...
And you and your mum are addicted to this serial ...
You do a mistake and your mum goes "Why can't you be more like Rani??? Don't you say you love her character?? Then try to be more like her" ... I don't know about you ... but this has happened to me a lot 😆
However, if it's someone like Manayata ...
You are in love with DEK along with your mum ...
Manyata does a mistake and your mum goes "Ohh Thank the heavens, my daughter ain't nothing like this girl" ... automatically you are praised thanks to Manyata ...
So who's the winner? Duhh! Manyata 😆
What I'm trying to get to is ... how many of you girls are angels??? 😉 I don't know about you guyz, but I ain't no where near an angel ... 😈 but I'm not bad either ... 😛
Girls like us, that live in the real world ... can be selfish ... now tell me how many of you didn't bash your parents for not getting you that Gucci bag?? 😆 ... we can be obnoxious, snobbish, gossip girls ... we can be two in one ... both angels and devils ... we don't make sacrifices for our siblings... how many of you would sacrifice a sexy Uday for your little sister??? ...None I doubt that would happen, if you girls get a Sexy Uday, the next thing you'd be thinking of is not your little sis and her love of life, but your honeymoon in hawaii ☺️ 😆 ... We may not see it ... but we are just like Manyata 😉
And yet we bash, judge, hurl insults at Manyata and we consider ourselves maturer than her 😉 ??
Our latest topic of interest is "Manyata being a run-away-bride" ... 😉
Now we all must be thinking of what example are the CVs setting for the youth of today...
Making the lead of the show be as foolish and childish ... and being a Princess ... she's running away for a guy, the whole world is against???
Doesn't Manyata respect her family??
Has she lost all her dignity ???
But clearly the CVs are very clever when you come to think of it ...
They are attempting to teach the youth a lesson, by setting a negative example ... 😉
Though Manyata is running away from home .. being a bride to be...
We all know risks are all around Manyata:-
1)She'll lose her respect in family
2)She'll bring shame upon her estate
3)She's being ignorant towards her duties as a Yuvrani
4)She is on the verge of marrying a guy from whom no good can be expected, he's in the fire of revenge, that could burn her to ...
5)She is not aware of the fact that the guy she once considered a saint, is now a devil.
6)We all know she's in love with Uday, but her obssession for Akash will make her sacrifice her undiscovered love ...
7)If she refuses to marry Akash, what guarentee is there that Uday will be willing to accept her?
Manyata's following "In order to gain something, you have to lose many things" ...
But "In order to gain something, and not being able to gain it, not only will you have to lose many things, you'll lose everything" ... which is actually Manyata's case 😛
So being a Run-Away-Bride isn't doing her no good ...
We are all aware of it ... She is NOT ...
We know what she's doing is wrong, but she DOESN'T ...
Manyata is a SINCERE girl ...hard to believe right? But she is ... 😉
Though she was comitted to Uday since the age of 3 ... she had not been a part of that comitment for 16 years, and the only person she thought she had comitted herself to was Akash ... she thought she loved him ... she thought he's right and Uday's always wrong, she thought Uday had no rights on her ... she didn't believe in that relationship because the only comitment that she has been well aware of was the commitment she made to Akash ... And now she's forced to change her comitments, and during all this she has fallen in love with Uday, but it is this feeling of guilt in her, guilty because she thinks she's ditching Akash ... guilty because she thinks she's breaking a promise made to a nice, sweet guy ... guilty because she has fallen in love with a guy, who is that guy's enemy ... she's guilty because by marrying Uday she'll be breaking the heart of the guy who loves her immensely and she never gave him nothing in return ...
Guilt has huge power in society, It's guilt that can make a person suicidal, it's guilt that can make you hate yourself, it's guilt that is worse than remorse, it's guilt that follows you like a dark-shadow all your life, it's guilt that can do all bad things to you ...
And I believe it is only and only guilt in Manyata that is making Manyata take the step that she's taking ... it isn't love ... her guilt is disguising itself as love or never-ending bond ... but infact it's only guilt that a human-being can have for an other human-being ...
"Lots of things can kill the body, But guilt can kill the soul" 😊
And when your soul is killed, or on the verge of dying, you forget what's right or wrong, what's good or bad, a little encouragement can make you think of finding the cure...
And the only cure to this is ... For Manyata to see it with her own eyes, the true face of her so called Good Boy, plus it isn't like Akash will come and tell her the whole truth about himself ... so that she could start hating him and move on with Uday ...
Because "Honesty is a very expensive gift, so why expect it from cheap people?" 😉
Let her find out for herself, let her faith decide for her ...
and remember ... "Never Judge a Girl by her cover" ... there's layers in each girl, and each girl out there is justified ... every girl has her own persona, every girl has her unique attitude, all those people out there criticising girls with high attitudes, remember "the only reason you dislike girls with attitudes, is because you don't have the guts to speak your mind" ...
And speaking your mind is "Truth/Honesty" ... and Girls with attitude, are the most honest ones out there ...
And I for sure would have a bitter truth than a sweet lie ...
And "there is no God higher than truth"-Mahatma Ghandi 😊
OH and don't do a sill mistake in life of being a Run-away-bride, no good ever comes from it 😊
So if you hate Manyata, resent and think she's a living nuisance, Think again 😊
