Really agree with your last sentence...reminds me of Jodhaa akbar...where Akbar is reminded that "aap fateh karna jantey hain...aapne mera dil nehi jita"...akbar then sets to win over his jodhaa...well Ahem dikra msust erase Gopi's pain and fill her heart with his soothing love.
