Afsar Bitya was a great show when it first started. The concept was refreshing and it really got you intrigued. We all wanted to find out if Krishna would be become a BDO. And that was it...the writing team pretty much stopped there with any level of creativity.

As soon as Krishna became a BDO it's as if the writers ran out of material. They killed the chemistry between Pintu and Krishna, turned Ganga Devi into a demon, made Krishna's mother completely irrational and threw in another Pinky and Pintu marriage - is she the ONLY girl of marriageable age in town? And what happened with Babloo and his principles and values pushing that sham of marriage and questioning Krishna's actions regarding rules and regulations when it came to his mother?

I am somewhere in the middle of May with this story - we had episodes loaded on DVR and in need of recording space we decided to catch up with episodes...what gawd awful writing!!! My sister and I were cracking up at the 4th grade level of ideas, dialogue etc. The actors failed to give any strong lines to the lead of the show; it's as if she lost some IQ points after she became a BDO.

After the apparent Pintu-Kristhna marriage my sister and I wonder if we can continue to stomach this show. It's pure torture to watch...everytime Pintu and Krishna's scenes show up I fall asleep; these two interacting are about as interesting as watching water boil.

End the show and lay it to rest on a good note. The TRPs say it all. And this lady Don character? Are you seriously thinking this is going to fix a show? Give me a break...End the show and give these actors another show they can do that's better and more deserving of their talent.

Laila If u are not enjoying the show or u already stopped the show , It's on u . But Plzzz stop making such negative comments Continuesly in the forum . If u are not enjoying it thatzz ur personal opinion but No need to express it again and again . Now Plzz Don't tell me that this is the forum and all we can discuss etc etc , yes Every1 have right to express their POV's but Again and again saying that Show have nothign to show and Plzz End the show . It's not right thing . Just becozz u are not enjoying it , It doesn't mean others also are not enjoying it and wants it to end . So Plzz Stop making such comments again and again . Sorry if I am rude but It's just that By reading such comments can hurt the Fans . And it will create unecessary fight in the forum which noone wants .

WOW, that hit you pretty deep didn't it? I haven't been here for three months so how can you accuse me for making such comments "continuesely" on this forum? My NOT saying these things are not going to save your show. We are all entitled here to express an opinion. I didn't bash a single actor or sayting anything untowarding or disrespectful other than express what I saw as the status of this show. The TRPs have fallen dramatically, the activity on the forum is dead and the CVs are bringing in new characters because they have nothing new to come up with in terms of a storyline with the ones they already created. All of these are signs that a show is nearing its last breath. Beating me up for my comment is NOT going to save your show or your Kinshuk. Why not wish him and the rest of the cast the opportunity for a better show?

My NOT saying these things are not going to save your show. We are all entitled here to express an opinion. I didn't bash a single actor or sayting anything untowarding or disrespectful other than express what I saw as the status of this show. i wasnt going to comment when i read your post coz i commentd to a similar comment that u made be4 in another post so i am not going to defend this show again. Bt i will just say why should fans who love the show,love the new characters being introd bt more than that love pintu and prishna wish him luck when we want this show to continue coz we want to see him in this show. The only thing that his fans want is to see more of his character getting his own identity.

What other post? You two appear to have a really good memory of a post I am supposed to have made three months ago but fail to quote it here or provide the link. Please do provide me with the evidence of what you're accusing me off.

What I gather is that you really like this show and want to save it and what I am telling you is this show is beyond saving. You can bring in the best writers but this show was ruined three months ago by the CVs and the story has reached a stage where it can no longer be salvaged.

A show is based on characters and when they are ruined over a period of time, there is not much else that be done. What I am saying is what is best for this show. Where have all the fans gone? It's just the two of you.

The TRPs are saying it all. Will they need to fall below 1.0 before you realize that even the loyal fans of this one promising show are bored out of their minds? The fact this show has a 7:00 p.m. time slot is the only thing that is saving it from getting axed faster than any other show.

Laila has the right to say what she wants to guys. And this is just her opinion. If you don't accept, then post why but don't ask her to stop posting negative comments about the show. As far as I read it, I find it justified.

At this point of the show, even my opinion would be somewhat similar. After marriage and after Krishna became BDO, the show has gone a bit out of focus. Bablo's role isn't that strong anymore... Why? Pinto and Krishna, their friendship turned into love... To me, it feels as if the writers are just showing bot of them everyone now and then to keep the viewers glued to the show and nothing more.

The character of ST, while it's amusing, it would be a thrill to see something else as well. I do not know but just something added to this on going track...

Recently, I heard there is a new writer for the show? I do not know if that's right but I suppose that oculd be one reason in the difference of story and point of interest in viewers.

Anyways, thanks Laila for the post and if the writers visit the forum, maybe they'll see it and do something interesting to make the show 'not boring' for viewers like you.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss the storyline and also share commments as well as criticisms of the program, but no bashing of the actors...

Laila2009 just voiced out her opinion of the storyline and there was nothing wrong in it. In fact I do agree to an extent the show has totally lost its spark, It started real nice with Krishna as this really confident and tough girl wanting to go far in life become a BDO and do changes for her village - well this was the reason it even won an award, if the CV's had concentrated more on women acheiving things and how they are treated in a male dominanant world esp in India they would really have caught a set of audience that would have been continuous as they started the promo of the show with a poor girl wanting to acheive her dreams,

But instead they had to bring in romance, saas - bahu crap, evil jealous girl who wants to steal the male lead, and worst of all having the marriage for Pintu and Krishna too fast as they should have explored more with Krishna acheiving higher positions (of course the romance side could still exist mildly) Pintu could have been shown as her stepping stone to acheive greater deeds. As most of the time men are insecure with their partners, here they could have potrayed a guy who is willing to accept and stand by a woman who is much better off than him (not monetary, education) This would have also made this show more prominant as a show addressing good social causes! (just my POV)

I aggree with u Sandia . We all are loving Pintu and Fans just want the balance . There is nothing wrong in Storyline . They still are showing the original plot of the show . It's just that They need to keep the balance b/w Krishna's professional and personal life . Too much of anything is not good and I am saying just that . I am still loving the show and all the characters . I just want the balance and most importent want more of Pintu . Except that I don't have any problem with the show . I still think there is lotzzz of things to show in the show So why it should end ?

How much more u wanted Pintu to be supportive to krishna ? Howmuchever he is been shown supportive to krishna , Is that not Enough ? And what Romance u r talking abt ? When they showed the romance ? It was just a part of love story which every girl goes through . COMEON!! Just Coz Krishna is been shown studious , they couldn't show her stone with no heart . And the love story they focussed just two weeks right from Pintu's realization which ended with Prishna's confession . thatzz it . Except that where u saw romance which a/c 2 u is reason for low TRP's .
If romance was the reason for low trp's then what hapenned now when they are completely focussed on BDO part . Main reason for Low TRP's is first the time slot , 2nd there is no appropriate time of repeat . And 3rd is the Lack of balancing b/w BDO part and Prishna's Story and most imp thing is ignorance of Pintu's character .

i am making comments using my phone and dnt knw how 2 copy the direct link of the post bt it was the Scared and Nervous post by Latanzia. Coming to our diff views I honestly dnt think that the show is irredeemable i dnt think that its the end of the road 4 it if its handled properly we just need good writers 4 this show . The last useless cv ruind the show making every1 irritatd with it and the latest useless cv have highlighted 2 the limit how pathetic our fav characters are making everything worse. Bt i hav likd how they have handled certain issues and if they handle our characters with a little bit of intelligence, with some thought epecially with pintu's character things can change. let me just say however that the main problem along with showing 2 much of krishna is how they hav handled pintu's character very unrealistic thats probably why no1 is watching.

God the trps its actually gone below 1 for like ab 3 weeks in a row. Fans hav left the forum and i cnt really blame them at all bt 4 me i stil love the show
