People were surprised when news about Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar doing a film together came about, but barely a week into their upcoming project Shaadi Ke Side Effects, they are already all praise for each other.
Farhan, in fact, has been gushing about Miss Balan, calling her a woman who understands cinema very well.
"Vidya is a lovely girl. She is intelligent and understands cinema," says Farhan. And considering it's barely been a week since the two signed up for the film, it does seem a little premature to be singing praises already. "I can say that Vidya is a friend. In less than a decade, she has managed to reach the top."
Now considering how reserved Farhan has usually been, we were surprised to see such bonhomie. It appears that the two recently met on the sidelines of the Iifa awards in Singapore and discussed ShaadiKe Side Effects and also their on screen chemistry.
