Tujhse naraaz nahin zindagi hairaan hu mein
Hairaan hu mein
Teri masoom sawalon se pareshan hu mein,
Pareshan hu mein
Jeene ke liye socha hi nahin dard sambhalne honge
Muskuraye to muskurane ki karz utaarne honge
Muskurayoo jo kabhie, aisa lagta hain
Jaise hoton pe karz rakhkha hai
Aankh agar bhar aaye to boondein baras jayengi
Kal kya pata kinke liye ankhen tarsa jayengi
Jane kaha gum hua, kaha khoya
Ek ansoon jo chhupake rakhkha tha …
So, life has finally started asking questions to Jai and Bani and brought their respective feelings out of the closet. Not only questions concerned with their heart, but also ones relating to real life, practical problems that have suddenly surfaced up for the two. 😕
Now, a very poignant scene. Bani finding herself completely alone and unable to share her pain and feelings with somebody. 😭 She says to herself in a monologue that her greatest bane is that she not only hates Jai Walia for taking away everything that was of the greatest significance in her life, but that her greatest shame is that she still loves Jai more. The magnitude of her love for him is still overweighing her hate, but I would like to mention, as one of my friend in the Forum had mentioned a few days back, that there is only a fine line between love and hatred. (One advice to Bani though – sweetheart, don't potter around like you have come straight out of the sets of "The Ring" 😆😆😆. No offence though)
Another scene that stands out that Aditya reaches out to Jai as a friend 👏 and asks him whether he loves Bani very much or not. Jai beautifully answers him back that in many relationships, love forms the basis of foundation. But that in their case, the foundation of relationship that they share is based on loneliness, helplessness and each other's tears. And that this bond is much stronger in any relationship even than love. 😳Aditya nods understandingly and hugs his best friend trying to take away his pain and a steely determination to help him. Believe me; I had tears in my eyes. 😭This is why it is often quoted that 'friends are god's apology for relations' and I completely subscribe to this thought.
Bani needs a job to sustain herself and her kid and rightfully tell Pia that despite Pia's best intentions, she cannot continue staying in the guest house for ever. She goes for an interview with a firm (ok, I found the company/ firm shady since they started off by saying Bani that they are willing to offer the job to Bani, provided she divulges them with secret biz infos regarding the Walia business and their future plans) and she nearly lands the job, with a hefty package of Rs. 18 lakhs per annum, along with provisions for traveling and housing😊. In return, she would have to pass on information about Jai Walia's business to the prospective employer😡😡😡. A determined and elegant Bani replies back that this money is peanuts considering the risk that she would have to undergo in passing on the infos ( I was sure that my honey bun wouldn't stretch her revenge-taking scheme this far😉). She later informs the interviewing duo that for nothing in the world would she trade the secrets of her husband's company and business and break his trust and faith on her 👏👏👏( Yipee, she's still thinking of Cuddles, methinks and how his trust on her is much more important for her). She advises her interviewers to refrain from asking any women personal questions about their family lives and stressed that those questions could be targeted back to them. Well, I am glad to see my Bani growing some spine and the way she lambasted those sick interviewers was great👏👏👏. I would give Raaga's Golden Ball to her today. 😆 A classy dialogue that she delivers is that – she is trying to work and live independently because of her child and that if need arises, any women could come forward to lead her life independently and nobody should be able to ask questions. 👏👏👏 Thanks Bani, you were great. Sometimes I have feeling you are going to throw me out as your Def Lawyer since you have started defending yourself so well nowadays. 😉
Back at home, Jai calls Ranveer and tells him that he wants the Mt. Abu property back at any cost whatsoever😛. When Ranveer tries to reason out with him, Jai tells him coldly that whatever happens, he wants the house to be re-built, exactly in the same way👏👏👏. Ok, The Golden Ball to you too, pleaase share it with your wife. (And please be grateful to me, I am trying to get you two to the sharing level, at least 😉) Ranveer is stumped completely but there is no way in which he could win over his Mamaji today. The scene was extremely powerful in that there were no shoutings, no hurling of accusations, no backbiting etc. Jai Walia held complete fort today and there was no way he was going to hand over his authority to anyone. I like this Jai, all powerful, authoritative and demonstrative. 😛😛😛 And the fact that he doesn't flinch an inch when he issues his orders to Ranveer and tells him that he is not interested in the project even if it fetches him a profit of Rs. 2000 crore.
But, our duffer darling is back to drinking once again 😔 and I didn't want that 😭😭😭. Its good that he was considering a lot of questions regarding his changed stance towards Bani and how her absence left him feeling alone and helpless. Jai can't understand why or how Bani's absence is affecting him this badly and why he wanted her back at his house, even when Bani hardly means anything to him (now look Raaga, who's thinking – u r right, he's eternally confused). He finds it difficult to comprehend why Bani doesn't want to forgive him for a mistake that was actually an accident. Aww, Jai you didn't actually take her teddy bear away from her and throw it in the mud😉. Jai also feels the loneliness returning to his life in Bani's absence and he is unable to comprehend this loneliness😕. Yet, he thinks that maybe its true that a person comes alone to this world and also departs alone. He goes back to think how Pia had broken his heart ❓ (few weeks back, he told Bani that Pia hurt his ego, but not his heart???) while Bani had broken his trust and faith. Think Jai think, and you will see the answer right in front of you.
He keeps on looking at a beautiful photo of Bani and himself side by side, smiling at the camera, and realises that he doesn't understand his feelings towards Bani and whether it is love or not. Jai then goes onto say that perhaps the emotions that he feels towards Bani is due to the fact that she is going to be a mother of his child😕, an entity who will bear his name, will have the same blood coursing thru' its veins just like him and will probably help him move away from the present state of loneliness to a stage where he can finally call someone his own😭. Probably that's the reason why he wants Bani back!
I agree with Jai's thinking regarding his child, but hello Jai, here is involved a women who loves you a lot and who had given up her everything to you. Its time you realize your feelings for your wife (irrespective of whether she's a carrier of your child or not) and acknowledge them, instead of beating round the bush😡. In this sense, Bani is clear – she knows that she loves her husband, in spite of his alleged wrongdoings. Jai, first you will have to let Bani know that you love her a lot and that she's important to you. Going by the present sentiments, I know this is a long haul, but if you are able to prove yourself worthy of Bani's love and trust, she will come back to you whole-heartedly and will also share the joys of parenthood with you. 😛😳😛
Performance wise, everybody was great and Prachi is definitely back into the groove. Ram, as usual, was great and so were Aditya, Ranveer and Pushkar. Pia tried her level best to infuse warmth, life and acting skill in a short scene 😆😆😆 and Madam starts searching for a job, as if it's the next best thing on Planet Earth and she hardly looks shattered today on knowing the present status of her home at Mt. Abu😡. I just hope she doesn't resort to unfair ways to hurt Jai. And the job, if she gets one, should not be an excuse for trying to salvage her sister from the tricky situation.
Its 1 a.m. and I am so sleepy that I am falling asleep on my keyboard 😆. Not aware of what I wrote at the very end – maybe all crap waiting to be unfurled, so please pardon my incoherence. 😃
Another point – 'Judaa hoke bhi tu mujh mein kahin baaki hain' is back in full force. I share a love-hate relationship with this song. I love the song dearly but I hate myself for playing and replaying this song in my mind continuously. 😡
