- I don't know how they evaluate films at the box office but Personally, I think music and the plot of a movie are two separate things and cannot overtake the other one.

Do you think people judge or watch the movie cuz it has gud music? 😃

-No. It's ACTUALLY the promotion level of the film before the release that makes one watch it😛........ and the brand of course... (ex. Dharma Productions, Yash Raj, etc)

I think good music certainly helps a movie at the box office but I think ratings depend mostly on the storyline. When critics judge the movie, they usually mention their ratings in terms of music and in terms of story. But good songs cannot carry a senseless movie.

Personally, I do watch movies if I find the music good. I just think that if they took time and effort to make good music then they probably gave as much devotion to the movie. 😊 Of course, this doesn't always hold true and at the end of the day, I judge a movie based on it's story and overall impact than solely it's music.
