Hello friends,
During Delhi Audition a true star & talented singer was discovered. He comes from a very poor family but God has blessed him with a very powerful and rich voice. Amit Kumar has taken professional Music training and his voice has a touch of Punjabi Folk Music.
I have not seen something like that where a Judge had to stand from her chair to greet a contestant during his auditions. Sunidhi Chauhan was technically had goosebumps and she was crying and said, 'kya buland aawaz hai, kya harketee lee hai." She went on stage and hugged this boy, but he wanted to touch her feet.
This boy has a very bright future. may God bless him.
About AMIT KUMAR
His father has a barber's shop. He also helps when he has to, but doesnt like that much. Idol: Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Master Saleem. He has won local music competitions. Been watching Idol in seasom 1, but has not seen all. Dream is to be a good singer; and then marry his girlfriend (-- though he doesnt admit to having said this part now). He is learning classical and does shows. All day spends in music. Fave judge: Anu Malik, likes his compositions and likes the songs he sings (oonchi hai building, garam chai ki pyali etc). Likes action and horror films. Fave Actor: Shah Rukh Khan. Strength: family. Weakness: trusts easily, also gets betrayed. USP: He is a good sufi singer. Lucky charm: his guruji. Likes watching movies, hanging out with friends.
