Word of caution: This may come off as a preaching post, but it really is not. This post is just a mean for me to let out my feelings about the state of the forum right now.
I am actually a bit disheartened seeing the forum getting divided into two groups, Barun fans and Sanaya fans. I understand that some of us like Barun more, some of us like Sanaya more, and then there is another group who adore both of them equally for breathing life into Arnav and Khushi.
I am not naive enough to demand that all of us should love both of them equally. No, that will never be the case. Fair enough. But what has saddened me is the recent mud slinging going around, why must we bring down either Barun or Sanaya to glorify the other?
They are both wonderful actors, extremely hard working and dedicated to their profession. I adore Sanaya for being such a supporting co-actor and putting in extra hours without making any fuss about it to compensate for Barun's absence. I am sure she had no problem covering up for the absence of her friend who was trying out something new to advance his acting career. The same way, I am sure Barun will be equally willing to work extra hours to compensate for Sanaya's absence when she has to cut down her shooting hours for IPK while taking part in Naach Baliye. How do I know this, you may ask? Its because these two are great friends, that's what friends do, they have each others backs at times of need.
Who are we to judge them if they want to go act in a movie, or take part in a reality show? If the PH gives them the green signal, if the creatives can figure out a way to work around their absence, then we should be okay with it too. Why should we lash out at either Barun or Sanaya if they choose to explore new arenas, take up new opportunities as long as they stay true to their commitment to IPKKND?
Just look at them:
Abbey yaar, when these are two are so happy, so chilled out, then why the hell are we tearing out hair apart trying to prove one is better than the other? đ Once again, to each their own, all of us have our favourites, but please lets all refrain from passing snide remarks at one of them to out the other on a pedestal.
I have immense amount of respect and adoration for Barun and Sanaya, and this is why I felt the need to write this post today. Some mutual respect won't do any harm, pretty please!đ
