thank you sheldon for the link.

the victims still remember that on doordarshan, he said khoon ka badla khoon se lenge.
and from then many people were shocked excluding congress suporters

ALSO, it has come to notice, that while the rioting was happening, the journalists reported that there was a celebration in killing/ not the KRODH .. several rioters were seen saying hUmko 500rs milenge, humko maarne do (something of that sort)

and amitabh bachan rumored to have supplied kerosene etc.. dont know how etc..

the theory goes that he was close to rajiv gandhi, the gandhi family supported/wrote a letter to someone in the industry.. and that the details or the hoople around bachan couldnt be esclated around that time for the same reason.

Didn't know AB's angle in the whole 1984 sikh progrom. Quite shocking, but then again he was quite active in politics at that time and was close to the Gandhi clan.
I loved the movie Maachis and Gulzaar as usual did a good job, showing the angst and frustrations of the Sikh youths and their turning to terrorism and finally how it proved to be self-destructive. Very sensitive potrayal.
