has anyone seen the movie which was made on the sikh riots of 1984

google shows lots of links but i know about this one

guys am not against bachhan or congress, but i think people have forgotten the massacre, the holocaust.. and i really want to talk about the massacre even if by the medium of movies

no one ever dared to make a movie on sikh riots till now ... like who did it , how it happened , operation blue star etc

and i m sure if anyone ever tried to make it , Congress won't let it release ...

there is one low budget movie called Hawayein ...good try ...but it was made of low budget ...but can be watched ... made by punjabi singer Babbu Maan

Amu is a story abt who suffered in 84 sikh massacre

Maachis is about Punjab after 84 ...and i wld say Gulzaar saab did best to show the situation in punjab that time ...

how innocent youngsters were forced to become Militants , what police did that time etc

yes, i read amu is banned in india. hawayein .. is in punjabi? i would like to download these two.

and never knew maachis was on a related subject.

On that note, can someone tell me why people blame Amitabh Bacchan for the 84 Sikh riots? I've read a lot of anecdotes and a few posts on here over the years but I never really understood how he's related to it.

i think he said something about getting revenge on those who killed indira ghandi on some tv program. i just read that on india forums a while ago. and amu stars konkona i think
