lol, do people think landing cover shoots and spreads in leading hollywood/western magazines is an easy feat? That is an achievement in itself. Look at how the Kardashian's always treasure, show so much pride, and savour every magazine shoot/cover they feature in.
This isnt India, where all the non-entities and gormless bollywood stars-- and po*nstars alike, are gauranteed to feature on every magazine that is published in the country, without fail, every single month.
I don't know what its like in India, But here, in the UK, Freida is hot property; she is everywhere! She's on magazine covers because she is relevant right now. And she is always being papped, hence all the candid pictures of her.
Indeed, it is disheartening to see how indians are so judgemental and critical of Freida, despite the fact that she is actually bringing good rep to the country (India). The last time I read about Katrina Kaif in a uk tabloid was when an article was published on NRI's relocating back to India because of better work opportunities/ an easier lifestyle. Katrina was described as a 'failed UK model'. Who decided to try her luck in India instead.
Just because Frieda, has classical indian features, (no blues eyes, fair skin and brown tresses) she is considered 'ugly' and is called a 'housemaid' who is obviously beneath the deign of certain people. (How narrowminded, racist and prejudiced!)
I for one find her to be beautiful (always have!), she is very exotic looking, very dainty and ladylike, and has lovely feminine features. She comes across as a grounded person too; doesnt run her mouth, Isnt egoistical, doesnt gossip, doesnt bitch doesnt adovcate the 'size zero' fad, doesnt call herself numero uno etc. And she has the right to gloat. But she is so humble about her success.
A good role model, I'd say.
