Payal still has the innocence, where as Palak has lost her childhood innocence and thinks beyond her years...Therefore Payal saw only Aarti's love for them, she did not see her manipulation, where as Palak did sense her love until Yash burst her bubble... Children are innocent and its better that they stay in the fairyland because eventually they have to face the reality... but this reality they should only face when they have the wisdom to understand right, wrong, good and bad intention!!! Payal's childhood innocence made her accept Aarti as her mother today!!!!

Z! What a lovely post dedicated to Payal, with wonderful insight into her childhood and position within the Scindia family!
One of the first things I thought of when Payal told her mummy to stop crying because then she would start crying was, "Gosh, this little girl has come so far from those days when she would stick her tongue out at Aarti and ignore her!" Payal wiped Aarti's tears away and accepted her in the role of caregiver, nurturer, and mother wholeheartedly, and it was so beautiful!
I didn't think I'd love Payal as much as I did after watching those two little scenes, but she won me over with her genuine concern for the one woman who went out of her way to try and bond with the girls despite their resistance. Once again, the little touches that indicate how much has already changed in Aarti/Payal's relationship are wonderful.
First Ansh, now Payal. These kids are going to make me so sentimental!

Z, I completely agree with your assessment of Payal's character! It was such a pleasant surprise to see her come out and accept Aarti when all our focus had been so squarely on Palak and her reactions. It made me feel sort of guilty actually, which only made it hit home really hard, how much of a footnote this poor little thing has been all her life. This is what I wrote in my analysis about her after the episode and it matches your thoughts almost completely!

The new Payal has utterly won my heart, the sweet little thing that she is, and it was clear today that she is akin to Ansh much more than Palak. She too never really had a mother and so she is happy to give Aarti that place. Also with Palak dealing with issues beyond Payal's grasp, she naturally gravitates to the more carefree Ansh and follows his lead. Thus Ansh becomes the bridge that joins Aarti and Payal and I have a feeling that Payal will help bring her closer to Palak. It was certainly a touching moment when Payal called Aarti mummy and even more so when she told her to eat something as she too hadn't eaten. I am sure that in some ways Payal has always felt overshadowed by her sister because Palak shares this special bond with Yash in their mutual grief that Payal does not really feel a part of. With Aarti in the house she has a happy parent who makes her feel wanted too. That must also mean something to her, to see this cheerfulness around the house for the first time in her life.

I also wrote a while back, that I think Payal has been Palak's lifeline all these days and possibly the reason that Palak hasn't gone completely crazy. In her carefree sweetness, she perfectly balances Palak's premature adult behaviour and sort of makes sure that Palak has at least one friend in the world. It is true that Palak is mean to other kids etc, but if she didn't have Payal's support she may not even be able to employ these defense mechanisms with any success to defend herself. I love how the CVs are giving each kid their own individual character and personality!

Payal was really adorable last night...when she wiped Aarti's tears and called her "Mummy" for the first time i was all "Awww!!!" at that scene..

All this while she just followed Palak and was influenced by her but since Aarti's return to the house i have noticed that Ansh and Payal are almost inseparable and they have developed a cute bond...

Agreed 100%
This goes in Aarti'a favour as it only Yash and Palak to change their sides.. leave bua out of this

Also .. Yash is completely responsible for Palak's this attitude. She has seen while growing that her father is missing her mom and sees so many photos and all the time Arpita Arpita Arpita around them..

When he marries what he thought - Aarti will act a governess .. just take care of my children but we will not make any moves ..

And Palak keeps calling step step mom .. and Yash does not stop her firmly .. he will just say ..

aisa nahee kehte beta... but he never tells what to say ..

I mean what I am saying is that Payal will now be with Aarti and Palak will see how she is being loved and cared .. and she will also feel like accepting but perhaps Yash's behavior will stop her ..

Z I felt exactly the same for Payal 😳...I always felt that Payal could not really connect with Yash or Palak much because when Arpita died , Payal was really small and she does not remember much details and so whenever Palak-Yash bonded over Arpita's sorrow , Payal used to feel like an outsider ... she did support her sister Palak ,always accompanied her but she could not really connect with their sorrow 🤔...
Tomorrow when Payal hugs Aarti and calls her mother , I felt this is real Payal ,... she could understand Aarti's emotions because she went through similar phase when mayb she felt lonely ...and so she instantly connected with Aarti's sorrow yesterday 😳...Yesterday Payal discovered her mother and she was at her best 😳
