would you marry an IPS officer?

i recently got a proposal, my family said he would have bungalow, vehicles, luxury. But i felt like saying 'no' cos am worried.. salary will not be much plus there can be corruption (am not sure), transfers.. will their life be stressful? do they give time to family and wife? i thought he wont be able to give me enough time.. i wonder if they have a romantic married life.. how would be family life and personal life with him? what are the pros and cons? do they lead a royal life? do they really become very rich? is there threat to life or its not always?
pls answer

If you know someone personally, know their good heart, then its a different matter, money and occupation are not important then. But if its an arranged marriage, you haven't even met the guy, then you have all the right to agree only to the alliance which fits your requirements. In arranged marriage you should think only of what suits you.

i agree with the last writer that you should also use your brains not only your heart in choosing a life partner.

But if you go by how rich he is then that marriage may not last long; nevertheless, i'd advise you to make sure he is a hard working and educated. i dont care how rich he is right now, but if you marry a lazy man(even if he is rich) you will never develop respect for him, more over if things gets bad. you will remain poor forever. but if your man is hard working, both of you will never lack. even he is not very rich for now. both of you will grow.

but you have a valid question, the bad thing is only a person married to an IPS officer can answer your questions, because he/she is facing its ups and downs.

moreover when a person is family oriented, they will always have time for their family, but when that person is not, even if they dont work, you will never see them close to their families.
I think being a doctor or IPS officer is wonderful and honorable, because of the nature of their jobs, even their families are specially choosing by God for them. you have to have God in your heart to be a satisfied wife of a IPS officer or a Doctor.
