Is he for real?

Yeah,sorry! I seem to get a lot of these kind of questions these days! 😆After a week or two full of Sandyness,I am back to doing what I do the best- think and admire about Suraj!I am trying to dissect Suraj in a way I've never done before like a professor in biology class trying to dissect a special specimen for the first time.😆Ideas,thoughts and some help are forever welcome

Unlike our Sandy girlie who I doubt now has issues of split personality and a number(I mean a really huge number) of alter egos,Suraj comes across as a refreshing change.He looks like he's come right out the 80's black and white cinema.Yet there is something very contemporary about him. He is a man who most of the times acts according to his mind. Extremely truthful but would not give a second thought to spell out a lie for the sake of near and dear ones.Sometimes,he is pushed by circumstances till things start to break-down but he picks himself up and does the right. He is also someone who has never shyed away from showing his emotions.Unlike,the usual attitude that "I am a guy and nothing bothers me", he is moved by emotions and people surrounding him.He responds to the situations with happiness,pain,sorrow and even sheds a few tears when things are out of control.He has this unbelievable strength to make everything around him happy and right.

There is no second doubt that he is his mothers laadla and a shoulder of support.Deep down Bhabo knows that Suraj is the only man she can trust till the end of her life. Well,now there is a little competition between Suraj and Sandy for that spot but still Suraj remain the "MAN".He is his Babasa twinkle of the eye. I am sometimes very impressed by Babasa. The man knows when to talk and when to shut-up. Suraj definitely has learnt a lot from his father and they both share a very special friendly father-son relationship.And as far as others in the family go, Suraj is their man of the hour, they all turn to him in times of needs, take advantage of his unconditional love and trust for his family,even take advantage of the fact that he is not as educated as he truly deserved to be. But Suraj loves them, takes care of all their needs, feels happy for the good in them and carefully and even intelligently avoids and dodges away the "bad" in them from affecting him in a serious way. I still recall how Mohit tried to trick Suraj into paying more for the band during his marriage and Suraj very intelligently avoided being made a fool. Even the entire Rathi family are not completely dangerous,they are like any other people with their own good and bad qualities,somewhere deep within all of them are pretty fond of Suraj and respect him for what he is.

Now,comes the most interesting part of my dissection of Suraj's personality. How,How can anyone love someone soo much! I remember the cliched dialogue from many hindi movies--"Kaise koi kisi se itna pyar kar sakta hai" Bhabo has a very valid point when she once questions Sandy as to what black magic has she done that Suraj is soo deeply in love with her. He surely is not attracted to her cooking skills and neither have they shared any real DBC moments. Bhabo's doubts are very valid as she reason out that those are the two things that can make a Man fall for his lady.SurYa's is not even a love-story that they have know each other for ages now and share a strong bond that is beyond these normal requirements.They were two strangers who had not even met once till marriage. Yet,the man loves and respects his wife soo much that the angry, more educated and someone who had felt she had been wronged by her brother and been married off to a illiterate halwai has been able to cope up with all these and started to like him.He was shattered to learn that she had lied to him about her education,he went ahead and lied to his mother, cut and bleed his fingers for her to be able to receive a trophy.Went into a rude shock on seeing the divorce papers,cried like a little baby whose lost his mother when the bus mishap happened. They have always spoken about Sandhya's sanskaar and her good up-bringing,but that can make her respect and accept what has happened but the girl has started to love this stranger, she now needs his support for every small and big thing in her life. The oh-soo intelligent girl cried like a little baby when she saw him after the bus accident. That was the proof of how much she needed him in every walk of her life. There should be something about this man,which makes him soo special and soo endearing!

The SurYa relationship is going ahead form being strangers to being forced into being husband and wife to now being two friends who are finding joy in little events of their life. They will go onto become soul-mates too and perfect Diya aur Baati and that day, I will stand up and applaud for the man Suraj is-someone who is week yet soo strong,someone who loves people unconditionally for what they are,someone whom his mother can trust forever,someone whom his father can always rely upon,someone who lives for his family and corrects the wrong in his family and someone who supports,loves and lives for his wife throughout and in turn earned her respect,love and unconditional trust!!

Yeah,he should be real.Only a real person with a pure heart and mind can do all this and smile at the end of everyday that things have gone the way they should have.

Naina, love like this isn't logical. I asked the same question in my life...what does he see in me. Still don't know what it is or why but I have to respect it.

Hmmm, maybe!Illogical is the only logical answer to my doubts.😍

Yes Love is a big mystery. I'm still learning new new things about it. 😆

new new things...can be what Ami said...about jealousy etc...that also happens. If we understand that, it's easier to negotiate those tricky things...else problem!
