No, my dear Janhvi, NOT because it is fun, but rather because it is a bad habit one cannot shake off , like too many chocolate sundaes or Holmes' seven percent solution.

Incidentally, have you see the movie of that title, with Laurence Olivier as Moriarty? One of the best Holmes pastiches ever brought to the screen, and directed by Nicholas Meyer, who also wrote the book with the same name. Plus The West End Horror, where Bram Stoker also put in an appearance. Nicholas Meyer also directed the second Star Trek movie, The Wrath of Khan.

I have not managed to shake off this bad habit as yet, witness my response to Tulsey above. You will like the Raja Harishchandra bit, if nothing else. I hope you also caught up with my candid take on Ovi at the party. I am waiting daily for the moderators to read me the riot act for that one, as they did for my tepid description of Savita's charms. Please see the Predictions after today's episode thread, after avoiding the curious storm raging over the last few pages. WHAT is all that about?

Ah Shyamala, you disarm me! Yes, why do we sit here and argue? 😆 Because it is fun?

Actually, I forgot to address the Punni bit, Purvi should have confided that bit of information, not to Manav as someone suggested but to Arjun. She intended to tell her mother (not sure if that would have done any good at all) but then the Savita/Ovi/Teju fiasco happened and Purvi probably thought she had time as Punni had told her she wouldn't tell as long as Purvi kept mum. Stupid to trust a snake but what can I say!
Cementing the relationship between Ovi and Arjun, I am against that too but Purvi is probably indulging in that nonsense because she has already made up her mind to give up on Arjun.
And please don't get me wrong, I loved Arjun Kirloskar all through except he has failed to deliver every single time ( I know the CVs have his hands tied, nevertheless, it is frustrating to watch a hero fall to such dismal depths of inertia day after day. I also know it is useless to keep writing any of this with the hopes that it will change the way the CVs script the story, they go on their merry path of reasonless idiocy, unfortunately)
Best thing that could have happened would have been if Punni had not disclosed the truth and Purvi could have given up on Arjun for whatever other reason. Arjun could have then either gone along with the world's plan of his marrying Ovi or he could have waited for his dad to set things right and then tried to re-woo Purvi.
Of course, the drama would not be as sordid then and there would have perhaps not been as many inflamed or conflicting opinions amongst the viewers😔.
As for the rabbit bit, a guilty conscience pricks the mind, and Purvi is suffering from a major bout of conscience. It has effectively tied her hands and silenced her tongue.
I love your writing by the way, and your patience and logic in dissecting the episodes, so I am glad you got those pms! 😉

Hi sashashyam, your writing style reminds me of Koolsadhu. I was really wanting PR to end soon but it is getting really complicated and tangled. It seems like the later part of this serial is so much more about the ARMAN kids. Archana wants to have her kids and Manav back in her life and I hope not at the cost of her adopted daughter Purvi. Archana should protect Purvi just like she would with her other children. Her other children has their father Manav but Purvi only has her mother. If Purvi fell in love with Arjun which at that time she did not know that Arjun was engaged and that too with her sister, she can't be held responsible for falling in love with this man who befriended these 2 girls of their loyalty towards him. Ovi should be thankful that Purvi stepped back to save Arjun for her rather than take Arjun away from her. I hope that the CV's show what really truely happens in real life rather than join ARVI to make it a pavitra rishta. the PR is likely to go on for months to come as Archana and Manav have started to think loudly about Soham. What kind of mess isthat going to cause.
