If AK was playing the role of akash i still wouldnt have liked him, unless he brought a different dimension to it. (AK is quite capable of doing that). How many times have we seen goodlooking actors playing villainy roles, and we still hate them. But the truth is, there is something about UV - something that is decent and loving and incredible - that makes us want to forgive him all his otherfaults. I wonder why people cant see that beneath his bad-boy attitude, he has the capacity to change and to become a truly wonderful human being. And that there is a reason for wy UV behaves the way he does. He isnt evil and bad - like probably giriraj is - but he definitely is like a coal, that if you take the time and the effort to mould, will change into a brilliant, shining diamond. You route for UV because of that. And it takes someone of the calibre of AK to bring out these subtle nuances of UV that made us fall in love with him in the first place. I agree with what AK said inone of his interviews - i doubt that anyone would be able to play this role as well - and he has the UV role down to a tee. </font>
<font color="#cc0000" face="Georgia">He is one of the best actors on indian telly right now, and looks are just a small, a very small infinitesmal part of that package. All I can say is that, he and UVcomplimenteach other beautifully. AK was lucky to get the role of UV to showcase his talents, just like UV was lucky to be played by AK coz he does it so, so well. </font>
