Hey Kavya.. there are 13 episodes in all.. 6 done

Hi MM= I stand corrected! I thought I had read that he(AK) had devoted two years in the making of SMJ & that he was going to be busy with it for another year.

If there are only 13 episodes,I doubt that an entire episode will be devoted to the casting couch in B'wood. It might basically be about sexual harassment at the work place,you think?
The casting couch affects relatively fewer people,whereas Sexual harassment is more inclusive a problem,

@ Kavya= Sorry about the misleading reply.

This maybe an interesting topic. I don't like to comment on someone's personal life, but I feel someone who talks about this particular topic should have a controversy-free personal life.
Having read this article and how he is described towards the end
I am not sure if Aamir is the right person to talk about this topic.
NOM to anyone.

Divorcing your long term wife and seeking sexual favors in exchange of giving work are two different things. He maybe a serial womanizer as claimed by his wife-thats their business,it doesn't preclude him talking about sexual harassment at the work place. If HE indulged in it THEN it would definitely be inappropriate. Just my opinion, don't mean to be disagreeable about it!

PS=Hard to find an actor to find a film star with a controversy free personal life!!

@ MM= you seem to have inside information! Do you have any information about the other topics that AK is planning on covering? Another thread said one episode would cover carcogenics in fertilizers-any truth in that? So you know? Please share if you do!!

The MensXP article is exaggerated and fake. I have never seen even one article where Reena accuses Aamir of being some womaniser.

Reena is still on good terms with Aamir and she lives only next door, to Aamir's house. She never talked to media at all. How can MensXP claim Reena made any statement when Reena Dutta never addressed media in her life? The only time I remember she talked to media was during Lagaan - as she was Executive producer of the film along with Aamir. Never seen any other interview of hers before or after that.

And Kiran Rao did not have any affair with Aamir on Lagaan's sets. I read in their People magazine interview last year that they came close only after Aamir's divorce and that media reports of Aamir and her having affair during Lagaan were wrong.

From what I know, Aamir had banned media very early in his career. This is why attacks against him only grew further as he refused to speak to film magazines (he banned media way before he banned awards!). I remember media reportage against him got worse when he sued Times group (which owns TOI, Filmfare etc.) for using his image to promote Filmfare awards. They wrote a lot of crap about his father also. It was only after media went overboard in writing shit about his family also, that he decided to be a little more media friendly around 2008.

Here's Aamir's interview on media to Tehelka - http://www.tehelka.com/story_main17.asp?filename=hub040106Mainstream_CS.asp&id=1

Here are scans of a 90s interview from Filmfare where he describes his relationship with journos and how they kept cooking stories against him - http://aamirkhan.org/gallery/displayimage.php?album=249&pos=2

Finally, here is a post with links and facts on each accusation hurled at Aamir and his personal life by some sections of media and haters online, do check out - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=387694217934201&set=a.383191405051149.75525.378238772213079&type=3&theater

Oh Aamir's affair did start during Lagaan...I would link you to a blog that had all the proper goss...but that has been closed down now...the blogger is undergoing some personal issues
but, having affairs is normal in Bollywood LoL

@bewafa

Actually during Lagaan he had an affair with one of the British actresses, not the one he was paired opposite but her friend. He even has a child be her, and the child is being raised by her in UK. He got into an affair with Kiran during the time he was contemplating marriage with this actress. But what has all that gossip got to do with this show?

PS: Amir Khan fans, I absolutely refuse to be drawn into any discussion about his personal life. So am not going to respond to any rebuttals, pms or follow any links to any articles. I only came to this thread to see what it was about a non-existent episode that was drawing so much discussion :)

@Bewafa

I know of a lot of blogs that talk of stars' lives. But I am quoting what I read in Kiran Rao's own interviews last year!

If the person in question herself is saying something then why discredit it? Does a goss blog become more believable than the person herself?

There are lot of articles about Akshay Kumar and even an interview was published in a UK tabloid wherein Akshay was quoted describing his experience of being with Shilpa in ''bed''. But Akshay denied them all. Does it mean we should believe a tabloid?

Please remember that when a star is not media friendly, then even worse stuff is written about him. Amitabh Bachchan was even accused of trying to murder Parveen Babi when he had banned press in 70s and 80s. He has recently been accused of trying to incite the 1984 Riots against Sikhs. Lot of Sikh organisations against him. But he denied his involvement.

So you're free to believe whether the star himself knows what what he is and what he's doing, whether the star is to be believed or whether the tabloids or other agencies know more and have more credibility.
