Discuss - June 16 - Audition - Mumbai

My respect for Sunidhi is going up. She does not fall easily for emotions and performance and is really looking for a good singer. The fact that she has been there and done that might add to her sense of fairplay.

Coming to the episode, a couple of good ones. Will be interesting to hear them with a mike before making a judgement. Anu Malik being Anu Malik still falls for a pretty face and drama. I thought it was silly he wanted to support the belly dancer whereas it was obvious to anyone that she could barely sing well. Kudos to Sunidhi and Salim for keeping him in check.

The one I have mixed feelings about was the guy who sang twice. I am surprised that A and Salim let him through. Yes he is living his father's dream but his voice does not convey the strength of someone who has done as much riyaaz as his words would portray. Even his mother clearly stated that it was his father's wish. I somehow felt A was not impressed but just said yes to keep his mother happy. This guy is definitely out in the next round unless the judges dont find any other story that can pull at audience's heartstrings

Felt bad at the ouster of the young guy who came with 4-5 family members but he has some way to go. Loved the confidence of the girls. Is it because they are more prepared? However, unfortunately these ones will be the first to go out during the show

this was good yet we get to see many cartoons in that , i really felt as singing of that cartoons is tested somewhere else not in front of judges , did you notice how funnily they sung that shows there are not judges in front of them,..i am really glad seeing a talented singer Paveny Pandey has been selected by judges , i am sure she will succeed to consolidate her position in top 13/14..

P.S- Sunidhi looked gorgeous yesterday but i never like Anu malik , a person who has dissonant voice himself and not seems to be well aware of music , he ribs contestants about their singing . what a shameful...😡

same thought about that guy who was given opportunity twise to sing before judges , i also did not see any good quality in his singing it felt as he started singing one moths back and got into Audition with some aim .. if they have placed him for final round i bet he will be evicted before top contestants .. if opportunity of singing twice is given to some other singer i bet he/she would have given his/her best .. did you see when Pandey Pandey was said to replicate her song they tested her as if she singing for the first time .. somebody needs to tell these judges she came in sarega ma pa and was one of the greatest singers ..😃

Yeah, I can never understand people like that old man who claimed to be 83 born or the one whose wife left him (I thought he was gay and can understand why she did that). But I don't understand the thrill they get from such rubbish.

I saw your post on Pavney Pandey and didn't realise she was one of the children show singers. Isn't it weird that ex-reality show singers like Vipul who seemingly get so much exposure to singers/music directors are not able to push their careers and need to come back repeatedly in different shows? The kids are fine as they would have been too young and their voice quality would have changed.

I just saw Pavney Pandey and realised who you are talking about. I thought she would be given a card immediately too. Also she is very cute and humble

no re she did not get card immediately but just after testing her voice and singing a lot ...
dunno what was Anu understanding to himself when he crooned bidi jaile soing to tell Pavney that you sung this step wrong ? does he even know how song is sung rightly .. instead him , Sonu Nigam as a judge should have been then this show would be even more worth watching ..

yea wish sonu was a judge. and that 60 something yr old man pretending to be 28, i couldnt understand if that was a joke or was he really trying to convince the judges that he is 28., obviously they knew he wwas a old man, but was he delusional, or trying to be funny, i was really wierded out by him

Sonu as judge would have been awesome.. But he can't get involved in all music reality shows and so it is good that he makes an exception for the kids as he deals with them well. Some of these other judges just don't know how their words can hurt children and so should be kept away

LOL.. did he sing? I thought he just said yahan wahan sur gaye... and Sunidhi made her sing line by line and caught her at the 3rd line
