SS:Race - Part 6

Heyy everyone! I'm back with a update(: Kinda of short but also sweet ;) I'm really running outta of ideas for this SS so if anyone and I mean ANYONE if you have and suggestions or requests please comment them or PM and I'll see what I can do(: I'll try to include as many as I can!(: So till then Enjoy!!!!

r. If they want her they're have to go through me first. And that's Arnav Singh Raizada's promise." The confidence and fidelity in his voice hung in that air, his eyes never leaving Khushi.

"I won't let anyone hurt you...I promise...Khushi... I'm sorry." Arnav whispered feeling defeated for the second time in his life, he watched Khushi as a lone tear escaped his eye.

Arnav saw how Khushi suddenly turned around looking up, as if she had heard him.

She stared right at the window where Arnav stood. The window was tinted, she couldn't see what was behind it. But she knew, she just knew that he was there, watching her. Her heart had heard him calling to her.

NK stared at Arnav's back, his words caught him off guard. He had expected him to be in shock, freaked out, something, anything but he never expected him to be this calm, this ready to claim all her problems as his own. He even caught those last words which Arnav had only meant to whisper.

In that moment NK realized how without Arnav, Khushi was nothing and without Khushi, Arnav was nothing. They completed each other.

"Your in love with her, aren't you?" NK said causing Arnav to turn around looking away from Khushi, wiping the tear from his face quickly.

"Was there ever any doubt?" Arnav replied, leaving no room for doubt.

"Um.. Well... I don't know. I didn't think that after hearing all this you would want to stick around. People usually avoid such things and I didn't want you to leave her after she got close to you again. I didn't expect you to accept her so willingly, so lovingly. I didn't think you would remain faithful with her after you knew the truth" NK stated, still dazed at how much Arnav loved Khushi.

"Right now, there's so much I could say but there's just one thing I want to say to you...Everyone thinks remaining faithful is a challenge, but it wouldn't be difficult if you were truly in love." Arnav's words hung in the air as he turned and exited the room, heading back downstairs to Khushi.

Khushi was dancing when the room suddenly began to spin, people were becoming blurry. She stumbled in her heels as she headed toward the door, she felt claustrophobic, maybe some fresh air would help. The cool air got her face, alerting her but doing nothing to help the faintness she was feeling. She spotted a bench, she wanted to sit before she fell.

Arnav came downstairs, his eyes travelled around the dance floor, trying to spot her. He couldn't see her, even his heart couldn't feel her, he strode towards one of the girls Khushi was dancing with. He tapped her on the shoulder,

"Hi, I wanted to ask--" Arnav couldn't finish as he was cut off.

"Of courseee you can dance with meee" She drawled, her breath smelling of alcohol, as she moved closer to Arnav purposely showing him her cleavage. He quickly shrugged off this sad excuse of a girl disgusted, he didn't waste much thought on her before he started to look for Khushi again. He decided to check the restrooms, he sent Payal in to check, she came back shaking her head no. He was beginning to worry as he strode towards the entrance to check outside.

He threw the door open, the cold air hit his face, he looked around. He saw her hunched over on a bench, face in her hands. He was overcome with worry, what was wrong with her...she was okay...right? Arnav rushed to her side,

"Khushi...? Khushi can you hear me? Are you okay? Dammit! Say something Khushi." Arnav began shaking her slightly, his worry increasing.

"Ah..Arnav...? M...my...head...hu...hurts." Her voice sounded off, she looked up at him, she looked sick. He thought she just had some bad food or something.

"Khushi?! Come on Khushi, I'll take you home." Arnav said, standing up, giving Khushi a hand. Khushi stood up on wobbly legs, she took a unsteady step toward Arnav before she suddenly slumped against his chest, unmoving. "Khushi? Khushi, wake up!"

Arnav shook her shoulders, he checked her breathing and pulse, he realized that she had just passed out. He knelt slightly, swiftly picking her up and strode towards his bike. He carefully placed her onto his bike in front of him, legs dangling on one side, her head resting against his shoulder. He took her phone and messaged NK and Payal, telling them not to worry. He made sure she was safely seated before he started his bike and took of for his house.

He carried her into his mansion, he took her to the guest room next to his. He crouched to lay her down in the bed softly, he began to stand up straight again when he felt something tug on his collar, he looked down to see Khushi's hand gripping onto his collar, a smile touched his face. He gently removed her hand and turned to leave, only to have her other hand grasp his hand,

"Don't go..." Arnav looked at her face shocked...she was still out...she was talking in her sleep. He smiled at her cute craziness.

"I...I love you...Arnav." she whispered as he reached the door.

He turned shocked, he couldn't believe his ears, she...Khushi loved him. He walked to his room with the biggest grin on his face, that night Arnav had the most beautiful sleep, his smile never leaving his face...all because of her, the one who brought the love into his life.
