Why did Arjun go to Delhi?

Why Purvi had to remind Arjun about Ovi's bday and why Arjun had to send gift from Delhi? That is so that Archana could be sent into the plot at the right time and at the right spot to fight for Purvi.

They had this track where they wanted to reveal Arjun-Purvi love story and to do that, they needed a party. Reason this time was Ovi-Teju's bday. Since the twins are so angry with Archana, Ovi-Teju wouldn't agree for her to be present. With DK in Australia and Manav who couldn't go against his darling daughters, the only way to achieve it was to use Arjun.

The plot was chalked out -

1. Purvi would remind Ovi's bday to Arjun. If he remembered it earlier then he would have bought the gift before he left. Which is not what they wanted.

2. Arjun to buy the gift and ask Purvi to pick up.

3. Purvi would be busy with the preparations and would request Archana to pick it up there by making Archana come to the bday party.

4. Punni to do her job of revealing the truth.

5. Ovi to overhear and slap Purvi

6. Archana who is almost about to leave the venue, comes running to save Purvi.

I am wondering if the whole reason Arjun was sent to Delhi was less for not being present while his and Purvi's truth got revealed but was more so that he could send a gift which could be couriered by Archana to the venue there by being present at the slap-fest?

Already Arjun's character is butchered so much. Arjun not being able to stand up and tell the truth. Next Arjun dances with Ovi so that Archana gets a chance to sacrifice her winning chance (Paper-Dance) and now this. How many more times Arjun is going to be butchered?

I don't get surprised anymore by what he does do and does not. Arjun was always concerned about Ovi, since the engagment fiasco. The Cvs have so far butchered the original AK like bee says. His this chance at redemption was taken away from him by sending him to Delhi. Now, lets see if the CVs utilise a smart actor like RD and make Arjun do what he does best. Prove his love for Purvi to all.

I agree it was a way to have Archana back Purvi, but what will happen when Archana knows the truth about Arjun Purvi love ( not affair as everyone calls it!)...I hope Archana is per eptive enough to understand Purvi's situation and Purvi's reasons for it!

Honestly nothing Arjun does nowadays surprises me anymore and frankly I just dislike Arjun to the core these days...cannot stand the sight of him 😡 and esp. after what happened to Purvi today...sorry
