Previously Akshay, Salman, SRK, Aamir, Ajay & Hrithik have done films that was rejected by the audiences.

Not saying Kahaani & TDP were rubbish films. I actually enjoyed TDP alot. They both did well at BO too for a woman orientated film but you gotta accpet rubbish film matter is subjective. It's every odds opinion. Since everybody is entitled to their own opinion. But what majority of audience show is the film that went 100cr plus must have been good film that it's been repetitively watched by people.

And it's not like we can't make entertaining commercial films, 3 Idiots, and Lagaan, are well made entertaining commerical films, who have found an audience beyond the south asian audience, Munna Bhai series was great as well... but today it seems like mindless junk is the way to go to make money, people brag about boxoffice collections as if that defines "quality".

It is worrying that Indian cinema's standards are getting lower and lower, while the world is racing ahead, we pride ourself as "the biggest film industry in the world", but the fact of the matter is, no-one takes Indian films seriously, people think it's a joke.
