Sid is Ram's step brother, but not his half brother. You're right about the kid not being a kapoor though as Sid is Jayesh and Niharaka's son.

You know, I think Sid and Ayesha deserve each other. Theyr'e both selfish. It's just that Ayesha has been shown as someone who's cared, and respected, her sister quite a bit. She WAS distraught when Karthik went ot jail, and she has loved, and missed, her sister a lot. But I guess she loved her career, her dreams, and her success, a whole lot more than anything, or anyone else.

So her and Sid belong together. If he won't have her, she ought to face the music.

I mean, if she's independent enough to make her own decisions; if she's independent enough to carve out her own rights and wrongs; if she's independent enough to single handedly make a case altering statement landing her sister in jail for a reason only she feels is justified, then she's independent enough to be a single mom, I think. So she SHOULD face the music. But we know she won't.

It's funny how such 'independent' women actually end up being rescued by the wallflowers, or the men in the family/friends ciricle. Ahh, if only they understood the true meaning of independence.
