these actresses who left BW at the prime of their career...shouldn't make a come back unless they want to to character roles like hema malini...whats the use...the movies flop...if a aajaa nach le didn't work...what will make this movie work?

Who knows,this looks like a character role too.I am not too sure about the film being a hit,but at least they are getting a chance again to act :-)

If one wants to act they can act by playing roles according to their age..example-Amitabh bachchan...the problem with these women is that they are in the age group of 45-50 and they still want to play the lead...it would be great if we could make movies for the older actresses like they do in Hollywood...but here in BW we are stuck to seeing the female lead as a young, bubbly, dancing around the tree actress which is SAD...if Sri and madhuri were in HW they would still be making awesome movies...but here in BW..i don't think so...

^In this film,she plays a middle age housewife.As far as I remember,even Madhuri played a mother in Aaja Nachle.If the comebacks are written keeping the age of the actress in mind,its ok but like you said,when someone tries to play a young girl in her comeback film,it spells disaster,and a recent example would be Karishma in DI.I completely agree about character roles in Hollywood.Look at Meryl Streep,still going strong with the Iron Lady.

Were Cheeni Kum and Paa hits?If not and if this story is good,Balki deserves some recognition and success in the form of a hit.The whole country loves his Surf Excel daag acche hain bro-sis ad ,what an idea sirji and the century ply hoyenga ad...why doesn't his movies work?I personally haven't really felt hired watching wither of the two films.
