generally all mythos show Bramha to be dumb!primary reason being because he didnt do anything except giving boons(which generally drove the Devtas into BIG trouble!),the creation of the world-also i guess since he was banned from being worshiped,while Vishnu and Shiva are widely worshiped..they glorify the other two more!

Brhmaji's responsibality is for creation. For other works he has to depend on Vishnuji & Shivji. That's why except giving boon to those doing penance he is alway shown going to other two of the Tridev. Atleast, they should show him knownig the past, present & future.
