Hammi…thank you…😃...always love reading your comments. 😃

Hammi can only agree with you on this... heaven's what a action packed show it was LTL1... nothing has so far come as even close to it...and I think nothing ever will.

I agree with you….Anna was a super villain and the perfect match to our super hero. ⭐️

You are also right about Anna makes our quiet Dutta speak in metaphors and I just loved it – also the reason I love Dutta and Anna's conversations…Dutta sound so...😍

Anna was crazy and scary…because he would kill (as you said) just for the sake of it. I think it was second time when I saw LTL I was able to see the scenes with him and his bodyguard who survived Dutta's attack – I knew he would kill him…but because Anna was crazy… you never knew how and what he would do.

Ani, fitting thread for a beffitting villain, Anna.
Anna was a perfect villain. He stirred the worst emotions in us the audiences, yet we admired his ability to do the same. He was a man of contradictions, was bold but back stabbed dutta at every given chance. He was comical in his mannerisms but evil personified in his actions, He loved, respected n cared for his wife but did not blink when he saw someone more beautiful n lusted after her. He was very careful n planned to the last detail in trapping dutta but was reckles at crucial times like he made a big mistake by challenging dutta to have a hand to hand fight😃, when he could have easity finished him with so much man power n fire power.
Ani, correct me if im wrong but i feel u have a soft corner for all the powerful negative characters like Anna n Kala n detest when they r shown in a degrading manner.😆 But my take is when Anna lusted after naku it showed how weak n brittle a negative personality wil always be. You can never predict their behaviour n can never trust them. Time n again i bring this anology of the mythological character Ravan the most feared n hated. He was the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva n did numerous Penances to please the Lord n actually succeeded in gaining the blessings, he also loved n cared for his family a lot, he was the most powerful yet he went after Sita which spelled doom to his kingdom n him. If he was smart or righteous , He would have listened to his wel wishers n let sita go. Underlining issue is howsoever a character be larger than life, if his basic character is immoral/unethical, he can never succeed or achieve greatness in d true sense.
Thank you for a lovely read n enjoyed the many takes of others as well.😊

Bharti...thank you for your comment. 😃

No no...😆...I do not have a soft corner for negative characters like Kala or Anna.

I just love discussing and analysing characters with layers and many shades. Personally, I believe that there are no excuse or anyone to blame if you make a wrong choice.

You made the choice you have to take the consequences.

I do love characters like Dutta's...😍...the broken soul...a man so simple and who feel remorse and regret.

About Anna and Kala...I think it is very interesting when a villain got many shades or is a gray character. I agree with you all that Anna was kind of crazy...I did not see it that way first...I just saw him as a bad guy but where the cv change his character to fit in the track about Naku's true color.

What I think is very fun about discussing a character is to read different point of views and to figure out if the CV made a mistake...was it out of character or is there a reason for why the character did what the character did. 😊

@nimmi
Maybe we're not following each other...maybe we're just going around in circles! Or maybe you really are following me lol...

As soon Anna appeared on the screen you just loved him as a villain. The chemistry between Anna and Dutta was powerful...😃...Not only was the character as a villain worthy of Dutta...but the actor who played Anna did an amazing job with the high standard acting matching Mishal. 👏
👏

Oh, yeah...the chemistry was just great between Dutta and Anna! From the phone conversation to the heart-to-heart meeting and then the final showdown, the two enemies stole the show. Their scenes were not quite dostana-like, but there's no denying the chemistry was there!

Murli Sharma made his character fun, creepy, scary and unreliable.

He was too good as Anna. I don't know if Anna was just a well-rounded character or if MS made Anna that good of a character.

The thing about Anna was that he was fun but also bad...really bad...if he got upset he would kill his own men, you never knew where you had him.

Yes...and that's exactly why the character was believable as a villain. He wasn't like Kala, who sometimes didn't make sense to me. He was funny and even calm a lot of the time, but he could be ruthlessly evil too when things weren't to his liking. We could see what he really was capable of then and what makes him a bad guy.

What I totally loved...was Anna not understanding...what there was about Naku...that a powerful man like Dutta fall in love with her.

It was funny watching him watch Naku and try to see what Dutta could have seen in her. He didn't know as we do that a creep like him will never see it!

One thing I did not understand and I did not like was the part where Anna went after Naku when he saw her true color.

He likes a light skin color, I guess.

I think a character like Anna would have used Naku to get to Dutta and then kill her. I felt like they wanted to make Anna to a Morey or maybe it was because they wanted to start the track about Naku's true color. 🤔

Well, the story was about Naku hiding her beauty as a way of protecting herself from people like Anna and Morey. This was to show us the problems she faced because guys found her beautiful and she was a vulnerable girl who couldn't protect herself in other ways. (I think she could but I didn't write it so...)

I know a cheater is always a cheater and all that...but Anna's relationship with his second wife was more than her being his wife. He had respect and believed in her judgment...their relationship was stronger than a pretty girl coming between them.

Well, not really as we found out when he met a cleaned up Naku.

I loved Anna and his wife...great characters...here it would only be right to praise the actress who played Anna's wife...in the scenes between her and Naku...(I feel) she stole the limelight.

Yeah, both Anna and his wife were really interesting, and the actors who portrayed them did a fabulous job.

I would love to have seen behind the scenes with MR and MS. 😊
