So please do express your views and now here is the first chapter.

CHAPTER 1

"Khushi come on lets go shopping. Tomorrow is my birthday!!!" Anjali said pulling a sleepy Khushi who was sitting in the sofa not in a mood to do anything.

"oh come on Anjali, I'm not in a mood to go out , at least not now in this hot summer afternoon."

"Come on Khushi. just come today!!!"
"Anji why don't you ask your brother to accompany you???"

"Come on Khushi do you think I would be going shopping for my birthday without him??? He's waiting!!!"

Khushi jumped up from her position.

"Anji you should have told me before that Arnav is coming"

"Why will you be shopping with me only if bhai is there???" Anjali asked seeming suspicious.

Khushi understood that if she behaved so Anjali would catch her and she would have to admit that she has a crush over Arnav and Khushi didn't want that to happen.

"Its not that Anji. If one of India's great businessman is waiting and I don't go, thats not fair right.??? Just give me 5 minutes, I'll be ready"

She wore a white shirt and dark blue jeans. Her hair tied up in a pony, she caught hold of Anjali's hand and ran to Arnav. Arnav was standing there leaning on to his SUV. He was in his three piece suit.. wait he did not have his coat on. He was looking hot in the white shirt.

"Khushi you took so long to get ready???"

"Sorry Arnav. I didn't know that you were waiting. Lets go"

Arnav was driving. Anjali was in front along with him while Khushi sat in the back seat positioning herself to see him so that she could drool over him. Neither Arnav nor Anjali noticed this.

"BTW Khushi you look gorgeous today" Arnav said and Khushi blushed.

"Thanks Arnav"

(So he notices me finds me attractive. But how would I tell him how much I love him. I've been in love with you since the age of 12... )

"And bhai me.. how do I look???"

Arnav looked at her. She was wearing a black shirt and light blue jeans. Her hair was left open.

"You .. kinda ok"

"What bhai.. I know you don't love me at all!!!"

"Hey Anji I was just joking dear. My sis is the most beautiful lady in the world"

Anjali smiled at Arnav while Khushi looked on.

"Arnav you are still joking right???" Khushi asked him casually.

"Yeah" he replied.

Anjali glared at both Arnav and Khushi.

"You two just wait and watch. I wont even talk to you both.

Arnav stopped the car just to hi5 khushi as poor Anjali looked on.

Ater a while they reached the mall. Anjali was very bad in selecting dresses for herself. It was always Arnav and Khushi who did that for her. But today she was not talking to both of them. She took her phone and texted them.

Bhai, Khushi

Ok I know I'm not talking to both of you , so just point out the dress which looks good on me when I try.

Anji

Both Arnav and Khushi laughed looking at each other as they received the message.

She texted again

That was no joke

Arnav and Khushi looked at each other seriously. Anjali was getting irritated. She could not control it anymore.

"Bhai Khushi. ok I'll talk to you until you get me my new dress"

"OK Anji" Arnav and Khushi replied unanimously and smiled.

They went to pick the dress and after trying out about 10 dresses finally Arnav and Khushi got her a sky blue off shoulder gowm. It was beautiful with silver beads in it.

Khushi bought herself ared gown another unique piece. Anjali and Arnav were awestruck when they saw Khushi in that dress. Arnav then asked her to pick that one and she was happy for his behaviour.

They went to the next shop to get matching jewellery and Arnav selected simple but unique sets or both Anjali and Khushi. He knew the perfect choice.

Arnav got a call and he excused himself from the 2 ladies and went to talk over the phone. It took Anjali and Khushi a lot of time to locate him outside a restaurant.

They went inside and had their evening snack since they had skipped lunch. After eating they went to the car.

"Khushi you sit in front dear. Someone is not talking and what will I do with her beside me here." "Yeah it will be difficult to talk while sitting in front and back."

Khushi went to the passenger seat and Arnav went to the driver's seat while Anjali settled herself in between the items they had just bought.

"Khushi I was thinking of going for a movie"

"Why Arnav? U usually don't go for movies on your own right. We need to compel you to come. What happened today?"

"Actually if we go home then you will go to GH and we to RM. I will be bored without the chutter putter.

Anjali didn't reply.

"You are right. Still you can come over to GH. We can be there and let others be.

"What the.." Anjali finally said.

"Hey Arnav wasn't that your phrase???"

"I'm not talking doesn't mean you can make plans ignoring me. We are not going to any movie. We are going home to RM and Khushi if you have lost your memory them may I remind you every year on my birthday you stay at RM. So better don't break the tradition or rule or whatever it is."

"Arnav don't you think her silence was better???" "I too feel so Khushi. we shouldn't have tempted her to speak" Arnav chuckled.

"Bhai and Khushi, stop it both of you. This time I'm damn serious. After all I'm Arnav Singh Raizada's sister"

"Yeah that is right!!!" Both Arnav and Khushi said.

They took the things to RM. Afterwards they went to GH to have their dinner.

"Khushi now come with us" Anjali said.

"Anji I know yaar. You both leave I'll be there soon."

Anjali and Arnav left. Khushi went to her room. Changed into her night clothes and stood in front of the mirror. She blushed remembering Arnav's words. Garima came inside.

"Khushi"

"Khushi"

"Yeah mom"

"Thinking about him???"

"Who mom???" Khushi almost screamed in shock.

"I Know Khushi. you were thinking about Arnav isn't it?"

"But how did you know"

"Khushi come sit beside me". Khushi sat on the bed near her mother.

"Khushi I'm your mother I know what is going on in your mind. You love him right???"

"Yes mom but I don't know how to tell him. What will he say?"

"Do you think he will reject you???"

"Will he mom. Am I that bad?"

"No princess. Why would he reject you Khushi. you are a darling and I think he may also love you"

"Thank you mom. Love you. Good night mom. I'm going to RM"

"Good night Khushi sleep well"
