Hey people...
Please do not get me wrong... this is just a little cynical way to view visit of a laughing friendly Ghost called Arpita
The other day the girls missed their mom... so after pacifying girls and putting them to sleep with the memories of their mom Yash goes to that life size of picture of laughing Arpita and is asking her to come back in their lives. Dude your wife is dead for last three years and you want her to come back to life???? like really?? How?? (Oh very simple just go to the garden look at the moon little sadly and the moon will send her to you.. )
So then comes the Ghostly visit in the garden...
Yash misses her too much and comes out in the garden and looks at the moon with foreloon expressions and the dear romantic moon understands his plea and lo there...Arpita comes for the visit as Yash has called her... as if singing the song tumene pukara aur hum chale aye... Asman ko chir ke bhi aaye...
Is Yash living in the world of Illusions where the dead comes and visit and have a nice loviing moment of holding the hands and looking in to each other's eyes and have a lovely dovely talk...and then bang you come out of your illusions and the ghost runs back to the la la land without saying proper goodbye...
But apart from humor it is an serious issue too..
1st thing they showed in the begining that it is almost three years that Arpita died...
Now Palak is in Class 2. So when Arpita died she was what about 4 years old??? Isn't she too young to remember all those details about her mother??? If she was around 10 now then we could have understood. So the age and the circimstances do not match up. The way they want to show the feeling of guilt is too much for that little girl. And the way they shows buvaji manipulating her 6 or 7 years of mind is too much. At the age of 6-7 a child does not behave that way... It is too innocent an age to keep that grudges and be vindictive.. It is not a normal behavior for that age group..
The other day the girls went running to Pa Yash and said we miss our mom and Pa Yash instead of pulling them out of their "missing element" catered to that feeling of missing...
Yes they want to show how much space Arpita has in Yash's life till today that he sees her in every little thing.. but then Yash is neglecting his present and staying in the past.. and in doing so he overlook a simple thing like birthday of his daughter.
His wife Arpita took a promise from him that in case in future if she is not there he will take care of the girls and make them happy all the time.. I think in his grief Yash is forgetting his promise to Arpita.
Yea that date has the sting of death but it also is connected with the breathing little person. So he is letting the death heavy on the life... No wonder he gets Ghostly visit at every corner of the life..
