Part 10

Today Maan was going to join the university and so after his gyming session he got ready soon. He did not put the the curtains away as Geet would complain, she was still asleep.

After Maan had his breakfast he saw his watch, it was 8am and he would leave after half an hour. Geet was still sleeping. He went to his room to collect some documents when he saw her still sleeping.

"She is still sleeping, what a girl she is" he wakes her up and when Geet sees him all ready she realizes it's a working day for Maan and she is so late to get up.

"Why did you not wake me up early" "Is that my Duty? Go get freshen up and have your breakfast, I will soon leave."

Geet realizes she is too late and Maan will soon leave..

"Is paraye desh me akela chor ker kahan ja rahe hain aap"

"Stop this filmi dialogues, I am joining today and you are here at home." Geet made a face and left.

But she sudenly felt hungry and soon ran to the breakfast table, escaping her bath'

When Maan came downstairs he saw Geet looking at her pratha with long face' she was turning it and playing with it'

"What are you doing with pratha' its for eating if you want to know.. " he also noticed that she was still in her night clothes but avoided to comment.

"This is all so cold, how do I eat it" she made a face holding pratha in her hand. Maan widened his eyes on this "itna nakhra"

"Then warm it up' it wont warm up by your making faces right?"

She made face, a sad baby face "Right, but I and kitchen.. I never worked in kitchen and I fear that hot stove'.if my skin goes bad then" she did not complete her sentence.

Maan could not belive how many surprising things about her still awaits for him to know.

He just ignored her and was looking into file of a student but again his eyes went on Geet who was looking at pratah as if it was the best way to warm up the pratha' Maan got irritated but knew even after he leaves she is not going to warm the pratha on her own and will stay hungry till lunch and she sure was hungry too.

Nakul and Prashan had lots of work around and Maan did not like depending and toubling helpers for every small things.

He looked at his watch' "I still have 15 mints left" he thought.. He took her plate and headed for kitchen, then turned to still sitting Geet

"I am not your servant' I will warm it up for you, come to the kitchen and take it."

Geet who was starving, her happiness had no bound, she actually will get warm pratha'.

Maan in kitchen placed the pratha on pan

"What is this you are doing' warming the old Pratha" he gave an angry stare to her which brought Geet on backfoot

She looked down and said in low voice "I can't eat that way, I can't get a fresh one here na"

This made Maan feel bad, just because she was with him she could not have things like herself'

Without saying anything he looked around the kitchen and found dough and some potato masala covered.

He started making pratha for her' here he was getting late too but could not leave her hungry. She was with him and was his responsibility.

He placed hot pratha on try and was about to start the other one when Geet who was sitting on the slab watching him and waiting for her pratha, immediately picked the hot one from tray to place it on her plate'

"AA-aaa'" Maan immediately got alert "What happened" Geet had burned her finger from Pratha steam' maan immediately switch the gas off, took her hand and blew it with air from his mouth'. Geet was now completely lost in Maan's touch..

"I was doing things, why have you to pick this hot thing' jab kuch aata nahi to chup chap baith nahi saktee, main ker raha hoon na" he placed her finger in the running cold water.. Geet completely forgot her breakfast and hunger and was lost in Maan.

He somehow made two pratha for her and placed them on dinning table'

"Are you Ok to eat on your own" he asked watching his watch'. he definitely have to drive fast' never ever was Maan late but all that never happened is going to happen now as life is not always calculated and under your control.

Geet lost in him said yes and Maan in hurry left. It was then when she started to eat she found her fingers were red. She was so delicate. But still she somehow managed to eat as she could not miss paratha made by her dusta danav.

She thought "Itne bhi bure nahi hain" she smiled "haan promise pura nahi kerte koi' gift bhi nahi dete per kuch aisa kerte hain jo koi bhi nahi kerta"

"In none of my MB's I read of hero like this'movie me bhi nahi dekha.. kitne alag hain na" she felt shy and smiled. Her heart beating fast just by mere thought of him in that direction.

Maan had a busy day in universities. On the top of his busy schedule, students kept on coming and requesting them to take them under his wing for different research' he just has to say no as he already was packed' he forwarded some to other professors ,some to sameera but few just insisted'

"OK.. send me your profile,if I see some special potential, I will get your test done.. if you clear that, you are in"

Anyone who would clear his test was real talent and he would somehow accommodate them.

Then busy with lectures and seminar prepration that his students were doing for him and so many other stuff. This was Maan overly respected in his work area and at home he was making food for his darling wife and fixing her clothes' only Geet could make him do this and he did not realize that no one else can even imagine to ask him do such things from him.

While Maan was in talk with a student who had been able toget hold of him after whole day running around Maan got a call from home' "Gee-eet" he though. He cut the call and placed his phone on silence. But Geet kept on calling' after he was done he called back home.

"Why are you continuously calling' don't you have sense I am in university"

Geet who was so much lost in him and had loosed her patience and eager to talk to him once kept on calling

"Jee woo.. woo I was getting bored' when will you come" Maan was so upset, anybody disturb him in work for no reason,he could not bear. He just cut the phone.

Geet made O shape with her lips "kaat diya' Dusta danav"

Next day again as usual Geet woke up late, only when Maan woke her up. Again her breakfast was cold. Today it was pasta. Maan while collecting his files and stuff was watching how she was looking at the cold food. Anyone else would simply go and warm it up in microwave but this was princess' she was used to get her fresh breakfast the moment she sat on table.. Maan at last knew she will not eat them' he without saying anything to her, went inside and made some sandwiches for her.

So from then, it was almost daily' kind of Maan knew it was his duty to make breakfast for her as he did not like troubling Nakul for her Nakhra' he was there to take them although he did not realize it.
