Anna Hazare inspires anshan on Chidiyaghar
Kesari Narayan aka Babuji of Chidiyaghar is arrested by the police over a false complaint by a corrupt leader.The Narayan family decides to stage an anshan in front of the police station to get Babuji released from jail.Paresh Ganatra aka Ghotak says,It was quite difficult to shoot in this heat without eating or drinking water.We all decided to actually fast during the shoot to get the right expressions.However,we ensured that the kids did not fast.I salute to Anna Hazareji for managing to do this for days together in his quest for justice.Every time I felt like eating something,I thought of Annaji.
The sequence ends with Babuji being released by the police and him asking the family to end the anshan.This was one shot that did not need any acting as the entire cast attacked the food laid out without even exchanging a word.
