Nazim's acting as Ahem was outstanding today. He was a sheer delight to watch. For this we should have very special drinks to celebrate this moment as he finally remembered and realised what happened on Holi day, he took his Gopi in his arms, hugged and held her, and he was thrilled to be the recipient of such wonderful news.
He knew this was a delicate matter and needed to approach it with care. His restlessness had the better of him at office where his recollection of Holi began. As he knew his Gopi was fearful and afraid when she looked on at his reaction to this news in the morning, he had to talk to his Gopi.
His early arrival at home was not doubted for his want to spend time with his wife. Kokila was quick to notice this.
Ahem was not surprised to see his Gopi arriving with his green tea, feeling the pain in her eye and offering her help to him undress. He considered himself to be very lucky to have her as his wife. He had to keep his words short and to the point. He knew he had to be patient and keep himself calm in order to talk to his wife. Upon her applying the ointment his mind instantly cast back to the scenes on Holi day. He was shocked and looked on at her but when the whole event rolled out in front of him, it was beyond belief that he immediately held on to her hand.
What followed on when he revealed his discovery to Gopi was guilt from his side of his ego having the better of him. Yet again he clammed her up with his harsh words and his temper as he recollected that night of Holi. He looked on at her wondering why did he do this. He could not resist any more and broke every barrier and took her his arms and held her telling to stop crying while he had tears as well. These were tears of regret for putting her through this torment, tears of joy for them having such a special moment and not being able to relish it, and tears of love for the love he has - all for his wife, Gopi.
Ahem wanted her to have no sadness any more as he wiped away her tears. He was happy for this news and sealed it with a kiss on her forehead.
Ahem has moved in leaps and bounds and has climbed many mountains to reach this moment in his journey of love. He is nearly there. For now we will savour this moment until the next one comes.
