Giaa's SItuation ; ; Another Thought

WIll start from mere basics. . .. . .

Imagine yourself as colours and JDJ. . . obviously you would want to get the ebst possible Cast and participants.. and Star is the most huge and most successful CHannel to fish for participants. . . so obviously they wud choose Star as priority one. . .

Now. . Star. . .they are such a big channel . .. they know JDJ is about to air. . and that too on a rival channel . . dont they know that their stars are gonna be targeted. . . i mean .. cud they not offer a warning to JDJ production house , legal back off warning which is possible. . so JDJ wud never approach Star stars. . . ??

Ok , moving on. . . .GIaa had talked to her producer some time before even being asked for Jhalak. . abotu doing a reality show. . producer said fine no probs. . but dont do comedy circus. . yeah . . .and Giaa had also made it clear that she wud opt for a dance raelity show. . that too after 2.5 years. . where the character GOpi had been deeply consolidated within the serial . .and within audiences. . .

Now moev on. . . there were some articles also on these forums that GIaa was apparently approached for Jhalak. . . Every star as in the recent TOI article usually wants some at least some space to explore their own abilities and interests. . . and Giaa for her age. . and her motivation .. . wud also do that. . and had made her intentions clear. . . Rashmi could have told Giaa no way before eevn Jhalak started looking for participants. . . but Rashmi PH never did that. . they were fine with GIaa doint a reality show. . dance reality show. . . now if they admit it or not. . its their choice. . but there will be no written proof coz it was a worded agreement. ./acceptance/ permission. . . Okay. . if star say that GIaa not allowed to do any reality show. . why did Rashmi even tell her fine. . and tell her not to do comedy circus coz it wud not suit her. . that meant that Gia cud also do comedy circus but had choosen to not. . coz of producer's advice as well. . Giaa took it. . seriously. .. this was the same Girl who turned down a Role in bodyguard. . er dream of working with Salman .. cum on. . Girls. . all fans of salman . . who would not want that. . . but GIaa made the choice not to . . coz of SNS. . . again thoughtful . .coz it was clear Bodyguard wud clash with SNS due to 25 straight days needed for Giaa to be in bodyaguard as i raed somewhere. .

ANd moving on... Again put yourself in colours and JDJ mentality . . . Giaa recently had a article that she wud definietyly be interested in JDJ. . . at that time definitely star wud have known . . PH wud have known more clearly of Giaa's intention. . . but were too slow themselves. . . . ANy human . . anyone else in Giaa's situation wud do exactly the same thing. . . sign up for JDJ upon approach . . coz one. . Its your dream + aspiration . . and two . . you already had a prior trustful relation with PH who had given go aehad soem tiem before JDJ eevn started looking for participants. . . The madness with Star's warning about Giaa not doing JDJ came a lot later. . .

Giaa was one of the main stars in Star Plus that signed up for JDJ pretty fast. . .coz she was in the news pretty much as the first contestant being looked for. . and meanwhile JDJ and colours were still fishing in Star Plus waters. . and tahts when Star flexed its musceles and becae over teh top TOUGH. . and Hina kHan who also nearly got finalised for taken off JDJ before culmination of the contract. . . BUt Star again was too slow. . . in GIaa's case. . . because things were too fast for them . . .JDJ PH and COlours were very cunning . . and yes. . Better than Star management at this stage. . .

When matters went to CINTAA (or was it the one that starts frmo A. . the actors association). . Hina and Giaa were there, , where apaprently Giaa was shouted at by some mad guy . . for taking up JDJ. . . I mean. . whts the common sense to shout at someone in a board room meeting . . .she has not killed anyone. . she hasnt thrown any tantrum . . all she has to say is that she always wanted to do a reality show. . already talked to her producer. . and when the chance came. . she did not want to delay and grabbed it. . . .

now when matters come to breach of contract. . where the hell was this contract when other stars From Star also did JDJ and other reality shows. . . There was a matter of Star saying that their main leads are prohibited form doing reality shows. . then why did this not apply to the other stars? why? ? /why only victimise Giaa. . . . her only mistake was that she WANTED TO GIVE HERSELF some room to expand her career. . . wanted to try something new.. . wanted to give her fans a different side of her.. . wanted to complete her dream .of a dance reality show. . . WHERE ALL THIS WAS POSSIBLE. . SHe has time and time again said and said in interviews whereve. that she has SNS as top priority and will never leave SNS. .

more interestingly. . .Rashmi PH was also in hot water coz of her doing soem show on the group of Channels that colours is a part of. . . . we all ready that. . .and also she had allowed GIa to go ahead prior to the JDJ finalising. . . and even more . .the dates for Jhalak were also accepted by SNS PH . . . every thign was set. . ..

Executives from star and Colours also met to agree to the exchange of fiction show characters for non-fiction shows. . .WELL what was the need for that. . .Colours as someone pointed out. .had already allowed stars for example like Tapasya. . (Utaran) to be in shows in Star like.. Zara Nachke Dhikha , , Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala. . . . . i mean . .. Colours was flexible enough . . . and proven that. . . why not Star. . . ..

Guys. . this might not link in well. . but when you install a software in your computer and going thru the proces.s. there is a terms and conditions section .. . cud anyone honestly tell me if they haev even bothered to read that. . . ??? all we care is that the software will work . .and is usually Free 😃

Contracts. . .

I dont know much abuot media industry in India contracts. . (Guys frmo now on a bit of this might be absolutely useless, but i will get to the point,, bear with me)

But after some reasearch on all the work contracts i came across.. there are some that are really wierd. . like i came across a Packing Job contract . . there was a clause in that saying . . You are entitled to work from 6 am . .to 4 pm . . ANd in another place it said. . You will be expected to work without pay for your first week . . and will get paid regularly after first week if you are judged to be fit for this work. . .You are also bound to terms and conditions that state you will be at times made to work Overtime and 2 hours overtime is enforced upon every employee.. if by any chance this is missed bacause of any reason .they wil have to put in 4 housr of over time. .. Sometimes based on demand. you could also be let out of job early if not much orders. . .

Another e.g. of contract.s. . mobile Phone contract.s. . I only know in UK. . if you get a contract phone. . they notmally give you 14 days to reconsider .. cancel/ change. . . if not. . you are stuck wiht a contract till it ends.. usuall 6/12/18/24 montsh. . If you wish to disconnect early you are expected to pay disconection fees. .thats usually the entire amounf for the contract period all at once. . .

BACK TO THE TOPI C NOW> .

GIaa's and other star's contract might be different. . .. but have conflicting issues. . . .

1) Giaa has 25 days for SNS. . rest free. .. full sense she cud do both shows. . after pack up means SNS day complete.. and can do JDJ practice. . and the free days for JDJ show times. . simple. . Other stars also do it. . Pavitra Rishta from Zee i knew had both main leads in JDJ . .Zee had no issues wih that nor Ekta . . she never interfered . . of course she was happy. . and they managed. . . . The serial Balika Vadhu despite on colours has the main lead in JDJ. . they are not concerned with their characted balika vadhu . .Colours knows that there are 2 sides to every star's lief. .reel and real. . . . and if you check screen times of Balika Vadhu and Giaa as GOpi. . Balika Vadhu actualyl has on average a lot mroe screen time than Gopi. . dont ask my how I know. . I did a randomised selection . .and applied face recognition algorithms to the video frames . . at max frame rate. . and got a average.. over same time.s. . . perhaps not too right. . but even if you say Balika and Gopi have same on screen times it does not matter.. if Balika can take on JDJ ,, Giaa can . . . .so no question about her not being able to do both shows.. loads of stars have done stuff like JDJ. . never been a issue. . .

2) the say that Giaa is not allowed to do any other show as long as SNS is running. . . is complete bogus and a rapid change policy never given weight till GIa's case came forward and Star got the ultimate victim to use and set a example to all other stars that if they dont oblige to their orders.. they will suffer same fate as Giaa. . . One thing thats is common in media industry is definitely over-exploitation of new comers. . . being made to work overtmie.. so no so forth . . Giaa stuck to SNS for nearly 2.5 years. . . and had made countless proffesionalism examples. . and common sense. . by refusing stuff like bodyguard.. refusing to accept not to take up comedy circus which was a definitive possiblity . . . ./ .. . She had show full and proper dedication to SNS. . and was very willing to carry on both shows. . . . .

3) WHen it comes to the JDJ contract. . . it cannot be speculated. . exactly, ,,. . . but that Contract may have also bee very tough legally bounding. . and with GIaa. . her asociation with JDJ happened too fast.. Star was too slow in their response. . and PH despite agreeing earlier got under pressure from Star who woke up like kumbhkaran demon . . and flexed its musceless . .

4) the JDJ contract has a possibility that its bounding contrat might have had legal Suing warnings. . and if contract violated. . a hefty fine to pay to JDJ. . . . . Giaa is not a fool . . she acepted JDJ based on her prior agreement with the PH. . and took up JDJ as soon as she got the chance. . . it was typical of her. . . i mean who would not. . . ?? I would if i was in her place. . . WHats wrong in trying somethign new to broaden horizons. . . . whats wrong in being ambitions. .
whats the harm in laying trust in PH and Channel who you always think have been supportive of their stars and help and guide them through all these issues. . . ANd on top pressure on Rashmi too to let Giaa do JDJ and this got Known after GIaa had signed up. . . I mean even teh dates that Giaa wud do JDJ got accepted. . for God sake. . .

5) And on top of this being bound by a contract. . is usually very tough . . She desperately when PH and Star turned their back on her. . she desperately tried to convince them that she would be able to manage both show.s. .and was on the verge of depression when her harrasment did not stop . .. . When it comes to contracts. . One does not simply cancel it and expect nothing to happen . .there are strings heavy ropes attached to them . . .SNS contract was more lenient because they had it on Rolling bassi. . and cud change terms and conditions at any time when renewing it. . . . and this recent change must have been after Giaa's discussion with Ph before JDJ started looking for participants. .

5) NAYI SOCH. . yes No will blast that concept. . . fie they have been showing unique things. . but does that mean that thye as a channel have any nayi soch . they might claim to have. .. but they are still and even worse.. engulfed in the ROTTEN .. NAYi SOCH. . THATS NOT NAYI. . in ANY WAY . . it only Nayi in the sense thats its more worse than the previous Soch when the used to be free in allowing their stars to pursue their dreams as well. . THey think Giaa doing JDJ will harm the character GOpi in SNS> . thats a plain insult to the indian audience. . I know Indian media ,, esp some channels have no commn sense and wud just cause mountains out of mole hills. . and add fuel to the fire just to fill their news time slots. . and get something to shout about. . .and then shut up later on . . BUt this thinking of SNS is a insult to indian audience. . in my pov. . i dont want to say much because i dont live in india. . . but the imaeg that indian Media has created in me. over the eyars. . I am sorry to say but I despise IT. . . even kenyan media is 200% better and moer nayi Soch . . . in theory and in practice. . . how do i know. .dont ask . . I am nto in answernig mood now. . after all thsi long post ..


Giaa was plain ly victimised . . coz the Ph messed up . . and overall Star were just too slow. . and it was Star that were unprofesional in this. . GIaa all she did was take up JDJ coz of her initial agreement with PH

SO ultimately the faults. .
Giaa's only issue in all this was that she wanted to fulfil her dream after 2.5 years of monotony . . her being ambitious and over-trust in her PH. . pretty much led to her being back-stabbed when thing with JDJ had passed the culmination stage. . and there is nothing wrong with what she did . .SHe is just 21 for GOD sake. . . she is ambitious ,, i mean who isnt at this age. . .majority are. . . she had agreed on dance reality shows with her PH who agreed.. and when JDJ came. . i mean if anyone was in her place.. after all that she was sure of at that point obviously she wud agreee.. there was no question of saying no to JDJ at all. . . . and then her dedication to SNS being questioned. . hoenstly thats a very big insult to her. . . : : : One does not simple put aside all things and do one thing in monotony ,, achieve sky high success. . still stick to it. . and always vow to stick to it. . . and when that person tries something else just for a limited time. . try something new.. but still HOLD ON or not let go of the ROOT . . . they get questioned. . . . If this happened to every star. . . in Star or any other Channel . .i'm afraid there would be a national strike. . . with Gia. . her being repaced from SNS.. was largely due to a contract bounding terms. . with JDJ. . and severe consequences of violating that. . . and her trust that SNS PH since had accepted it prior to her signing up JDJ. . was broken. . . SHe was plainly victimised by Star. . to set a example to all. . not to go against their commands ever again . .

PH if they knew Giaa wasnt allowed to do any other show. . they should have been cyrstal clear about it . .They shoudl have told this to Giaa when she first indicated her interes way back to do a reality show. . . the Ph themselves appear to be clueless about all this terms and conditions. . Stars multitasking but having a common Main Project.. e.g. SNS was too common. . . and everyone overlooked the s**cking policies that keep changin all thetime like chameleons. .. .

Star. . bigest fault FOOLS. . . a bunch of retarded old SOCH donkeys. . . the main power Abusers . . . the ultra SLOW . . thoughtless mindless. . Channel that could not take any necessary precautions to stop all this from happening while there was still time. . . . There is a situation when one person can make a wrong decision but usually right. . . and this situation Star managemetn filled with too many heads.. well . .Too many Cooks Spoil the Broth . . . and in Star's case. . . .yu get the point. . . . They issue a warning to thei stars after Colours and JDJ shows up in their shores. . . FOR GOD sake. . whats the need of a warning when they cuold simply. . in a more educated way .. handle this situation . . instead of enforcing their views and instead of beign dictators and maniacs.. they cuold have handled all thsi in a much more better way . . . They think they are making a wise decision based on replacing Gopi. . where the HELL were their brains when THEY KNEW They are the biggest channel . .They have the most popular stars. . THEY are the most likely fishing are for Colours and JDJ. . and for JDJ as it ahd been as all times. . . where was their damn THOUGHTS department . . were they all dead . . for such a big channel . . to take such kiddy decisions. . . to be so overuling and dictatoriall.. is a CONstipated concept. . . honestly. ..
