'I'D LOVE TO WORK WITH JR NTR'

…says Shruti Haasan, denying rumours she's signed on Harish's flick with the actor

V Lakshmi

The buzz in the industry is that Tollywood director Harish Shankar is going to sign on Shruti Haasan once again. The director was impressed with the actress's performance in his last outing, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer Gabbar Singh (GS). In fact, he went on to call her the film's 'lucky charm'!
Harish is set to work on his next starring Jr NTR which is tentatively titled
Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbai (MLA). Given that Harish's GS broke Shruti Haasan's jinx in Tollywood, and her role as Bhagyalakshmi earned her new fans, it was but natural that there was talk of him approaching her for a role once again. But Shruti says she hasn't signed on the film, adding, "Harish is a fabulous director and he knows and understands the pulse of the audience. I had a great time working with him, and would love to work under his direction again. I'd love to work with Jr NTR as well."
Interestingly, Shruti was supposed to work with Jr NTR in Dammu earlier, but had to opt due to date clashes with GS. The role finally went to Trisha. Wonder if second time will prove lucky for her.
