" look-alike " concept is itself an age old concept , people are no more interested in it 🥱 ... look-alikes are not possible in real world 😵 here that is the main plot 😵 story revolves around julia=aaliya=mehreen 😵 that too to get hold of one notorious terrorist by their so-called ATB with their whole mission dependent on one simple girl's sacrifice 😵 (this ATB can better hire some s**ts to trap all the terrorists, no need of cops 😆)...they made fun of ATB ,this is not how ATBs functions in real world to combat terrorism ...

Next shabhana's track was not needed , if they want something to say about sharia & indain law they can make one separate serial and concentrate wholly on it ,make nafisa the heroin 😆 ... instead showing shabhana's crying face interrupting mp-aaliya-ranveer story was really irritating 🤪 that too when people were not even interested in discussing about it 🤢

Then , what is the need to have aaliya as muslim and ranveer as hindu when the story is not related to mixed marriages like "Bombay" film 🤪

Now comes my fav MP , mp is the villain of this show whom we have to hate , but no these stpm cvs made lot of viewers(though minority) to love his character 🤪 (i personally dropped this show due to my love & sympathy for mp's character) ... why??? 🤪

Finally the main concept of this show , their so-called choosing between "Love & Duty" ... aaliya's love ranveer himself asks her to make sacrifice and select duty , is it called selecting between "love & duty" ❓🤪 then "shaadi karongi kisi aur se" is a utter nonsense 🤢

Many of the viewers have logical thinking , this show was not logical from the beginning ,hence this end

(all are just my povs ...no offence to anybody)

As per me, the show was a bit slow with reaching it's main plot. They wasted 4 months on getting Aaliya to commit, to teaching her how to handle MP, not to mention starting RanYa's lovestory. They should have shown Ranveer feeling attracted to Aaliya from the beginning instead of him seeing her as only a silly, selfish pawn. Indian audience are impatient, they want everything fast when the show starts and they don't mind if it slows down in the middle. Once you have their attention, they will stick to the show. Sajda, took it slow 'cause the makers knew that this show won't go on infinitely. As soon as Aaliya wins the mission, it has to end, so they began at a snails pace and brought in many side characters, to slow it down even more. And that's where they went wrong.

Khair, to tell you the truth, a part of me is happy that they won't show Aaliya having to choose between Ranveer's love and her mission. MP is a scary guy. I always thought that the guy won't hurt Aaliya even if he came to know that she's a spy 'cause she looks like Julia but he proved me wrong. He would have tortured her, her family, Ranveer's family and then probably even tried to kill her. So Thank God for that.

Now let's hope the Sajda team draw everything to a logical conclusion and we get a happy ever after for our RanYa.

i think u r bang on there!! i feel exactly d same...atleast frm one side d attraction shud have started early on to grab eyeballs...once indian audience gets hooked they become addicted and then they are faithful...that's the only place where sajda faltered...a slow start was the main drawback...rest all fault was of the channel...the channel knew that this show is out of the saas-bahu league...the niche audience that wants to use their mind while watching movies/tv does not watch star plus!!! the channel should've known that...if they wanted to move beyond the saas-bahu loving masses and reach out to the classes then they should've worked for that accordingly...through sajda they were catering to a seperate audience but channel did not realise that...to venture into the youth-show genre they should have had a new marketing strategy in place...something more youth based...but star plus didn't care...there was no post-launch promotion whatsoever forget something extra...very poor wrk on part of channel

nice post...sajda was a beautiful concept with sooo many stong charecters like aaliya, ranveer, mp, nafisa...each character had multiple shades, the main triangle love story was sooo interesing...high on passion and intensity...they handled complex emotions and characters very well...also they have dealt with many social issues like drug abuse in a very subtle and non-preachy manner which is very rare on tv as even satyameva jayate is very preachy and not subtle at all...plus the show looked quite realistic... but i think the drawback was a very slow start and lack of promotion...i won't say religion cos i think indians are quite accepting if the show is interesting...even in bollywood there are so many khans ruling and lot of superhits have been made wid muslim backdrop...wtvr be the reason i think sajda is a very sad example of untapped potential...still enjoyed it a lot

Nice post..
I feel for a show which had crime as its background, it moved too slowly...they should have developed the love in no time and then the sacrifice for duty sooner. They should have focused on the training in a slicker way. Also, considering MP is supposed to be a terrorist, he is not believable...any terrorist worth his salt would be suspicious if a girl who looked like his dead wife turned up in front of him...they should have shown him trying to find out more about her than just accepting her at face value no matter how much he loved his wife. The fact is Pat and his mother make more sense.
Also, the side tracks were very poor. The Shabana track got completely bogged down, like they could not figure out how to end it..
