Hey guys,...

I was beginning to love this channel. The Star Parivaar Awards,... the idea of the whole StarPlus family... it was all really sweet. But now... I feel this channel is just about the money.

I need to make this clear. If Sajda ends June 16th, ... StarPlus will also end June 16th, for me.

StarPlus has officially lost its mind. Not only are they taking off a new show with such potential (Sajda), but they are also taking off a show that has such popularity (Navya).

AND. on top of this,... I hear today, that the female lead in their show Saathiya, Giaa Manek, is leaving the show due to her participation JDJ. Her decision is apparently going against her contract,.. they say its unprofessional, and she was requested to stay by the channel, but her decision to participate in the dance show is all her own and she is sticking by it.

Now, I have nothing to do with this show, or the actors. But Saathiya is the LONGEST running show of StarPlus... all of the fans are obviously upset about her exit,.. and because she is the lead, her replacement will be difficult for the audiences to get used to. It would only make sense, for StarPlus to give this show a proper ending, because it really is the right time for this show to end. It has been on air long enough. And besides, after this main lead replacement, the TRPs will obviously go down... because it will take time for the audience to adjust... So why not just give it a respectful ending??

But no. StarPlus is not going to do what is logical. Instead,

-they are introducing a new show, unnecessarily,...

-they are giving Sajda a terrible ending, ...

-they are taking Navya off air... AND,

-their show Saathiya is having a replacement of their female lead.

With two shows gone, one suffering from a lead replacement,... where does that leave StarPlus? With IPKKND and EHMMBH as their main two fictional shows, Satyamev with Amir,... and a random newly launched show.

StarPlus is a channel that does not support its shows for the story and concept, but instead, only for the amount of money it is generating for them. If they take Sajda off, it will be for this exact reason. And I cannot and will not support a channel like this.

I agree with you 100%
I only used to occasionally watch Star Plus .
After I started watching Sajda, I started watching the other shows on the channel too.
But if they end Sajda this month,
I'm cancelling my subscription to the channel.

It's all been one huge disappointment with this channel.
They gave such lame justifications too-

"every story goes through various twist and turn of situations; and then comes a point, where we see it culminating into a beautiful ending "

^^ I mean, when did Sajda even have time to go through all those so called twists and turns?
They are ending it before it even began properly!

At this point I will be happy if they have the decency to even give it an extension if they don't want to keep it running so long.

At least let us see all the loose ends coming together and let Sajda have the ending it deserves.

There are many other shows that have had their due.

Even if they don't want to cancel another show, there's an empty time slot available!!!!

But like I said before, Star Plus is biased and completely illogical.
I'm done with them.

Keep emailing and fill their fb n twitter accounts..might also need to call..i used wtch saathiya n sajda nw ones gtin tke. Off air n in the other 1 the main lead is replaced its nt fair..totally ridiculous hs every1 wrote on their website page..

i agreee i never use to watch star plus but now iam a huge but if sajda goes off air am not going to wtch star plus either

star plus pleseee dont tke sajda tere pyar mein off air :(

Completely Agree!!! I read the response that you got from them... and their reasoning is all b*llsh*t... for lack of better term.

Sajda deserves a fair chance, like they gave Navya,... and whatever other shows. They need to either change the time slot, or give Sajda and extension. its only fair.

and like you said... there are tooo many loose ends that need to come together. they cannot justly do it all by the 16th. It will all be a mess is they try, and it will be a shameful ending for such a great show.

They need to choose between either keeping the show for good and just changing the time, or extending it. If not,... then buhbye StarPlus.

Oh dont worry, I am and will continue emailing and doing whatever I can to save Sajda. I am not giving up hope until the very end. But if regardless of our efforts, they ignore us... this channel will be over for me.

Yup, I never watched StarPlus either... It was only after Sajda that I cared to check out the other shows on the channel. Sajda is really the only reason I bother with StarPlus,... if it wasnt for this show,.. I would never care for this channel!

What SP is dong is highly unfair. If this is their idea of Nay Soch , they're marketing it very well, only problem being their intentions of money-making being the Nayi Soch are clearly shown . No offense to any ardent fans but if there were any show on SP that should've been axed it should be the ones which have lasted long, really long. like say Pratigya or Yeh Rishta. These shows have served the audience for 3+years and major tracks have been covered. Shows like Sajda have only sprung up and need some time to develop to its full potential. By nipping them off in the bud, it's not just the show but the sentiments of a large section the viewers that's gonna go down. All this is definitely gonna prove negative publicity for SP. Hope they listen to the voices of the fans!

Yes! Youre absolutely right. This Nayi Soch is all nonsense... just a strategy to fool the viewers, nothing else. There is no nayi soch in any of the concepts of the StarPlus shows,... they had Sajda,... which is really different. a real Nayi Soch. but no,. this channel is not going to support it.

I completely agree with you. Shows like Pratigya, Yeh Rishta, and Saathiya are all well-run, and they have served plenty for the audiences. The stories and all major concepts of all three of these shows have been covered. They all can and should have a respectful, appropriate ending.

Seriously,.. its all about the money. StarPlus' sad truth is out now, with their poor move of taking Sajda off.
