Hi Guys,

I haven't posted in this forum for ages as I got fed up with all the Kalakari story lines... however, you guys have all stuck by the show and I really feel gutted for you all...

The question I was to pose is that had it been Ahem (i.e. M.Nazim) instead of Gopi (Giaa) in Jhalak then do you guys really reckon they would have replaced Nazim for a new face? Nah I do not think so,they would have sent Ahem off on a business trip somewhere ...

Evidence... Look at Barun Sobti is IPKKND his doing a film and they have compromised for him (even if it meant him getting kidnapped ...).

I am of the opinion that the producers and Starplus if they are truly replacing Giaal feel that replacing her for a new face is not a big thing and thus have not compromised for keeping her ... there is so many storylines they could have though of to keep her off screen while Raji fans got a bit of romance but no they do not seem to be doing this ...

As it happens I have just visited the Starplus website and there is no contact us link which was there previously thus suggesting to me that they really do not care much for their audience ...

Shame .. I think SNS might be going the way of Bidaai (god I hope not as I would really have liked to see Ahem finally confess to Gopi (Giaa) and not a new face...

However, on the up side it might just be a publicity stunt (here's hoping) ...

I was reading the Tellychakkar article and it said because she was asked not to participate in jhalak because it was coming on there rival channel colors it's all to do with trps

I agree with you even i stopped posting but this news made me. They could atleast bestow raji fans or taken a leap for all i care with gopi missing. Ahem searching. Rashi being thrown out or gopi being thrown out but no they had to go and take this stupid decision. If they do replace her i think they want to show that no actor is above the channel head but sadly star plus will soon axe it. Its better we say ta ta bye bye to the show now and make peace

I believe in not loosing hope completely, lets wait and see, how today goes, I'm hoping they will reconsider they position and allow her to take part and stop this non-sense of replacing her.

Hey, you spot on when you say that it is all to do with TRPS but the problem for me is that they think that they can maintain the TRPS without Giaa Manek ...

Let's face it most viewers are female and whilst we all like the female leads like Gopi and Khushi we really do like our men as much if you better (yes I confess I do like male leads and how many of you can say you do not ? )

That is why I feel had it been Nazim instead of Gopi I reckon for the long-term TRPS the show and channnel would have compromised the short term for the long tern beacuse they know most people who watch SNS love Nazim ... whereas they think they can get away with losing female leads ...

Xar I can see you all calm...😆

THere was a storrm brewing already...all of the stars (from SP) offered a chance on Jhalak...declined because of channel mandate...not to participate due to the channels issues with colors...Giaa chose to make her path...and channel forces the ph to do its bidding (the real loss suffered by the PH here)...has nothing to do with male and female...

and Giaa does carry a bigger fan following...I would say there must have been a lot of behind the scenes drama going on...

Sobti and his movie...different platforms different ph and different show ...so dinamics not at all comparable...
