Bit confused, is Aaliya a muslim? Then, when she agrees to 'love' Rishi, how does that work? I mean, he's a Hindu? Not to be offensive and all, but aren't muslims not allowed to marry people from other religions? (I'm a muslim btw)

also, what religion is ranveer? :S

also, why does ranveer choose aaliya in the first few episodes???

It's preferred to marry a Muslim guy and some shariah also says that you cannot marry non-Muslims but people do marry them.

Ranveer is hindu.

Aaliya resembles to julia, MP's wife who died in some accident, he loved her blindly so he chose her because of the face.
