Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar to romance in 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'
The sequel Shaadi Ke Side Effects will talk about what happens when the characters of Sid and Trisha get married and how their love story goes forward. According to the producer Pritish Nandy, SKSE is a funny, clever, wild film and shows how fascinating love is before and after marriage. Just as modern-day couples still relate to the 2006 release Pyaar Ke Side Effects, the sequel too will have a very strong connectivity with the audience.
The sequel will be directed by Saket Choudhary, director of the original, and will even retain the music director Pritam. Actor Farhan Akhtar is ecstatic about the film because he has never worked in a rom com, and is also looking forward to work with Vidya Balan. Pritish Nandy feels since both the stars are intelligent actors they will make Shaadi Ke Side Effects topical.
Vidya Balan loved the original and thus when she was offered Shaadi Ke Side Effects the actress lapped it up without thinking twice. She says, "Saket's observation of relationships is simple and that makes it naturally and perhaps sometimes even unintentionally funny, mad and sexy."
Shaadi Ke Side Effects will roll soon, but the release date is not confirmed yet.
