What will it take to be in his wife's shoes?
Ahem looked on at the concern on his families faces and listened on to their words. All told of their worry for the near loss of him and the angel that God sent in the form of Gopi who saved him. He watched her feel his pain while the ointment was being applied on his arm. He knew she too was hurt and insisted for her to be seen by the doctor as well.
When he explained why he went into the kitchen, her reply left him astounded. He looked on at her thinking here he had to apologise again to her for the saris he bought which were now burnt by the fire, only to hear her selfless appeal for wanting his long life and quick recovery.
Her undying commitment, dedication, devotion, self sacrificing qualities are unmatchable. He could not believe how lucky he was to have such a person, let alone the thought of such a person ever existing these days. What has he done to deserve her? This left Ahem thinking while she tended to his needs.
With the day not over yet and the high drama continuing with the truth just out from Anita, Ahem will finally reveal more of what his heart and mind feels. The question is: how much will he reveal when it comes to the matters of his heart for all the family to hear?
