This is meant more or the PR creative team and CVs more than anything else. I'm going to keep it brief (those of u who want to read my detailed boring analysis will find it on Shyamala's post..."PR in dooldrums")
All I want to convey is this...going forward, CVs...please keep this in mind. In an great story it is true that there may be twists and turns to the plot, and interesting/different developments. However, you must figure out how to infuse these things into it without deviating too far from the plot. Because if you have, then you have pretty much changed the entire story and as such will have to bear the consequences that come with that.
Now in the case of ARVI...as I had pointed out...no relationship I perfect. There can be misunderstandings, leading to hurt, anger, pain, rage, etc. Agreed-relationships are very volatile. But if fans are interested in a particular story, then you must take great care that even while portraying these ups and downs, you still have to keep the crux of the story intact. Stick to the facts. Arjun and Purvi are in love with each other. Arjun ended up unwillingly engaged to Ovi thanks to the stupidity and presumptuousness of both their fathers, This was a complete surprise to Purvi, hurting her beyond belief, which leads to her misunderstanding Arjun.
This is the simple plot of the story. So the point of this post...on behalf of all ARVi fans is to encourage you to stay the course. We have been told ARVi will be reunited and together soon (how, when, in what way, etc remains to be seen-fair enough). If this is the case then please make sure to stick tithe facts and the story. As I put it in my other post...the intense love and need for each other between the two still has to be conveyed even if there I a misunderstanding and one is mad at the other. To put it bluntly, the Ovi scenes and open PDAs are bad for the storyline. Not the PDA themselves perhaps but the fact that Arjun is not nipping them in the bud. If he starts getting to comfortable with Ovi...we go from an unwilling separation to something else...which changes the whole story...making it a completely different story than the one that caught the fans interest in the first place. At that point it no longer has any worth.
Please keep this in mind when going forward.
