Chapter 5

M: Jeeju, kya hum andar a sakte hain? (Jeeju, can we come inside?)

Vi: Maanvi, tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? Tume aaram ki zuroorat hain. (Maanvi, what are you doing here? You need to rest.)

M: Relax, Jeeju. Main yahan Beeji ki permission le kar aayi hoon. Kya main Di se mil sakti hoon? (I came here with Beeji's permission. Can I meet Di?)

Vi: Yeh koi puchne wali baat hain? (Do you have to ask?) Of course. And Maanvi, I'm sorry once again.

M: Jeeju, agar apne mujhse ek aur bar maafi mangi, toh phir main aap ko kabhi maaf nahi karongi. (Jeeju, if you ask me for forgivness one more time, I won't forgive you.)

Vi: Acha baba. Aab main tumse maafi nahi mangoga. Khush? Aab jao aur jake Jeevika se milo. Virat, muje tumse kuch baat karni hain. (Ok, ok. I won't ask you for forgivness. Happy.? Now go and meet Jeevika. Virat, I need to talk to you.)

V: Ok Bhai. Partner, tum chalo, main thodi der mein aata hoon. (Partner, you go and I'll come in a little bit.)

M: Ok.

Maanvi goes into Jeevika's room while Virat and Viren talk outside.

V: Bhai, kya baat hain? (Bhai, what happened?)

Vi: Virat, tum ne abhi tak Maanvi se apni dil ki baat ki? (Did you tell Maanvi about your feelings for her?)

V: Nahi Bhai. Aur main baton bhi toh kaise? Agar maine usse ab bataya, toh usse lage ga ki main yeh sirf isse liye keh raha hoon kyun ki mujhe uss ke liye bura lag ra hain. ( No Bhai. And how can I tell her? If I tell her now, she'l think I'm only doing this because I feel bad for her.)

Vi: Exactly. Jeevika ke theek hone ke baad na, ek plan sochte hain, tumhe aur Maanvi ko paas lane ke liye. (After Jeevika gets better, we will think of a plan to get you and Maanvi closer.)

V: Yes, Bhai. Au vaise bi, humme Bhabhi aur Maanvi ka sabse zayada khyal rakhna chaiye. (Anyways, Bhabhi and Maanvi need our attention the most right now.)

Suddenly Maanvi comes out of the room.

M: Jeeju, Di ko hosh agaya! (Jeeju, Di has regained consciousness.)

Vi: Saach? (Really?)

Viren goes into the room. Dr. Manan arrives and does Jeevika's check-up. He tells them that Jeevika is fine and that she can be discharged in the morning. Virat takes Maanvi back to her room as Jeevika has gone to sleep.

M: Partner, tum mera itna khayal kyun rakh re ho? (Partner, why are you taking care of me?)

V: Partner ho tumara. Farz banta hain. (I'm your Partner. It's my duty.)

M: Accha? (Really?)

V: Haan, kyun? Tumhe vishwas nahi ho ra? (Yes, why? You don't believe me?)

M: Whatever Virat.

Virat helps Maanvi lie down on her bed.

M: Partner ab tum ja sakte ho. (Partner, you can leave now.)

V: Main yahan tumare saath rahonga jab tak tum so nahi jati. (I will stay here until you fall asleep.)

M: Fine.

The next morning

The sun was shining brightly in the window. Bright rays of sunlight entered the room as Virat woke up. Virat looks at Maanvi and is mesmerized by her beauty. There was one strand of hair that had found its way onto Maanvi's face. "The only flaw on her beautiful face," Virat thought.

Virat gently moved the strand away from her face and ran his hand down the side of Maanvi's face.

"I love you."
