Okay firstly this isn't really in reference to the current track of D3 or anything, and neither is this article really about Suvreen Guggal show. .
I happened to catch an epi of SG. . and was mega impressed. . they were dealing with the issue of eve -teasing, rape, and mentality of the modern society. .
Considering it's based in Delhi, it couldn't have been more apt !
Now I don't know what or how they'll handle it , but atleast someone's talking about it. .
coming to Dil, Dosti Dance, which just won it's very much deserved 2nd Youth Show Award at IIFA..
I know D3 basically deals with the relations of the gang with each other and all . .but as a youth show I really feel that it doesn't do as much as it can .. .!!
I mean, there are so many issues it can talk about and make an impact.
The only time when there was actually some such stuff being done was when KSG came..!!
The Bharat day, the bank balance talks, the speaking out truths, all of that seemed connectable and not just the usual escapist entertainment. .
There are memorable shows like Hip Hip Hurray and Remix.. which are so old and yet people remember them because they went beyond the lovestories and funstories and potrayed the youth as it were :)
I'm not saying D3 should suddenly change overnight. . but it surely could add a few such tracks x)
